The 08.02.2008 dated interview is the one about the Korean War. The Russian pilot said he could be friends with the German pilots he fought in The Great Patriotic War, but he still considered Americans the enemy. SayethWhaaaa 245 Posted August 27, 2014 I think that's a reasonably common reaction from both sides. Then again, you spend 50 years being told the other guy is the 'bad guy', it'd be hard to forget all of that animosity easily, especially given how the US and the Sovs drummed it in.
