Regarding airfield approach lights

Dear friends!

 

I would like to ask you about the airfield approach lightsin SF1 (and SF2) series. They are switched on at 7.00 or 8.00 PM as far as I remember. But they are not visible in inclement weather during the daytime. Is it possible to have them lighting during the daytime in inclement weather only and if yes, please tell how to make this, otherwise the runways are not visible. It would be fantastic!

As best I can remember the airfield lights can be adjusted to be on for a specific continuous period of time.

However I am not aware of any way to make the lights visible during inclement weather during day time hours.

I cheat, by pressing the +15 key repeatedly.

I too was getting lost on my finals when landing the "Pig" in bad weather, this should help :)

(change LightOn=0.25)

Taxi Lights (blue)

It's a part of the flight and, as you don't risk your life, I would say it's fun.

So no cheating but searching the runway xD

 

Do a 360° turn, and when spotted make a low altitude landing pattern, watching for speed / altitude / variometer / the damn runway...
