What would cause an aircraft from Rising Sun not to work in SF2NA?

Recommended Posts

To be specific I am not able to run the Rising Sun Hellcats and Corsairs in my Fully merged with all titles and fully updated SF2 Pacific install.

I am pretty good at converting stuff but I am at my wits end. I picked through the KB last night for awhile and still cannot figure this one out.

Please help!

maybe some bug in ini lines like missing line or missing [ bracket ] somewhere.

i remember that I was pissed off about some bird not showing in game - finding later that first line in data.ini file  front bracket was missing like:

Missiondata]

instead

[MissionData]

Probably you ve checked this ..but who knows...

Ok Wrench, they show up and list. you can choose them, go to hangar screen and load them. But I get a lockup at 100% loading.

Most of the data is very crude.

use as source material for modding rather than finished product.

it that lockup on ALL terrains, or just WW2 maps? I'd test on the standard Desert or Range first. Worry about carriers later.

lock at 100% is most likely an aircraft fault.

Roger. Just WW2 Terrains. On ground and carriers. Also it is Just the Corsairs from RS4. The Earlier F4U-1A from RS is fine.

Lord who knows?......

Don't quote me on this because I'm not sure I remember who or how but iirc someone got the RS Corsair to show up in SF2 by removing either gauges or parts from the cockpit.

Try a different cockpit.
