3rd person crosshair mod?

Hey everybody, I just got strike fighters 2 today and have been enjoying it alot,

As someone who came from arcade style flight games this one is pretty much the sim I've been looking for.

Anyway I was wondering if there was a mod or a setting in a .ini file I could change to have a hud style crosshair in 3rd person view, mainly for the gun.

The easiest way for that would be to play with easy settings and in normal cockpit view, and use the "Hide cockpit" command

( CTRL+ NUM DEL by default, iirc.. or just NUM DEL ... check the keyboard function list )

which makes the cockpit disappear from view but keeps the gunsight / HUD displayed.
