  1. Hi guys, As some of you know, I am a Dutch military veteran suffering from PTSD. I am happy to say that the battle against the PTSD has moved me to a more comfortable way of life, mixed with some symptoms which I now take for granted. Social distancing and being more reclusive is one of the things I use to prevent me from suffering from the PTSD consequences... it works 90% of the times. I also have been battling a lymphoma for about a year... it could have been bad, but thanks to chemo therapy and meds and a strong constitution my body was able to overcome the white blood cells going berserk in my body... Last monday I was told that the Hodgkin Lymphoma indeed has been defeated for at least 95%. Because I never give up and never surrender, I see my battle against the PTSD as an ongoing struggle which I will NOT "lose". So I sometimes choose to expose myself to that what can possibly trigger me... like unpredictable events, crowds and so on... The lymphoma didn't help for a while... A year ago I decided to do THE thing... I wanted to visit a concert with my son Sen (just turned 16 in March). We both are metalheads and we saw that there would be a concert weekend in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) in May 2026. You might have heard from the group maybe once or twice.... Metallica... I already saw them in 1990 and 1991... so this would be THE perfect chance for a "second generation fanboy" experience. 35/36 years after... (DAMN I feel old now!) So... We were able to score 3 tickets (me, my son and my dearest best lady-friend who also is a military veteran), booked a hotel and waited... and May 22nd and 24th we took the streetcar to the stadium. We had two incredible evenings, seeing Metallica perform both nights with two different playlists... first night Gojira was support act and the second night we saw Pantera. So happy to have done this. Especially with my son Sen!! I just proudly wanted to share this anecdote with you as a positive note!!! Oh, and some photos to boost! Cheers all, have a great one!
  2. Hey buddy, Thanks for all your work and good luck! Your life, your path your choices! May you have a smooth road ahead, and don't be a stranger if you want to show yourself once in a while. Be well!!
  3. So... instead of 1 person (the topic starter) taking the trouble to use a translator, everybody else (the readers and the ones with possible help or answers) is forced to use a translator? I too am one of the many users of whom English is not the native language, so that is no excuse. It does not agree with me, and I will not play along.
  4. Maybe I interpret this wrong... sorry, English is NOT my native language... But it will be a polyglot mess if anyone can start a topic in any language he/she sees fit. It also splits up the community, as English is the common denominator for everyone to use so for everyone to be able to get involved. I think that every topic should therefore use English, and if a user doesn't speak English it is up to him/her to translate that text, and answer back in English by using a translatror... It's illogical for me to put up a text in Dutch and expect all of the readers to do their effort. And if more and more topics start in languages I do not understand rightaway, I am not engaging in it anymore... I am getting fed up by people NOT making an effort and therefore forcing ME to take extra steps. It's decency to use a common language EVERYONE (more or less) understands...
  5. Oh and... main forum language is English.
  6. Well, don't let the door hit you on the way out and have a nice life. Don't bother declaring your leave, too... And for everybody else thinking "I want it all for free and it's not fair that it's behind a paywall, so..." I can just think of the worst ice hockey statement that comes to my mind: Go puck yourself.
  7. I did an internet search and it says this: These are mechanical indicators that visually signal the status of critical systems to ground personnel during pre-flight checks or maintenance: Orange Protrusions: These typically indicate the status of the M61 20mm Vulcan cannon and its firing systems. Specifically, if the Gun Electric or Gun Holdback safety pins are removed, the orange indicators will be visible. Yellow Protrusions: This is the safety indicator for expendable countermeasures (chaff and flares). When the safety pin is pulled to arm the system, a yellow indicator will protrude.

  14. Hi, If it is not included in the actual aircraft, you can maybe find it here. If not, you might consider picking up some new skills to make a new skin yourself? https://combatace.com/files/category/557-f-16/ Good luck with the search or with making a new addition to this game!
