  2. MTO Bf-109G10 JG53

Messerschmitt Bf-109G10 skin upgrade & ini tweeks for SF, WoV & WoE WW2 Installs:

This is a rebadging of original Bf-109G10, JG53 skin by Gramps, with basically, new individual number decals added. With thanks to Gramps for permission to modify.

This skin represents Bf-109G10s from JG53 in the 42/43 time frame in Western Desert/Sicily/Italy; you know, the general MTO area. I make absolutely NO claims to historical accuracy

Includes inis to upgrade data, cockpit and loadout. Also included is a NEW MTO 109 loading screen, never before released.

Full instructions in the enclosed readme!

  3. Ju-87T (KM) North Atlantic 2-tone gray Splinter camo

North Atlantic 2-Tone Gray Camo for KM Ju-87T Stuka

Another skin for my "What If..." carrier based Ju-87T, which is modded from Pasko's original Stuka. It represents a fictional North Atlantic 2-tone Gray.

Since there exists NO available templates to reskin ANY of Pasko's birds (or at least none I could find), I had to use his original splinter camo as a base for this (see the original readme for the Ju-87T). What I wound up doing is creating a multi-layer psd file for the needed skin bmps, and redrawing every single panel and rivet line.
So, all credit goes to the original skin creator, whoever that might be; but...
This is a NEW skin (albeit based off stock), from a NEW template, created by ME!!! And let me tell ya, re-drawing all those little buggers is a real PITA!!!

Please read the readme for install instructions and perhaps some notes of interest, in particular about the unit badge decals.

    Happy Landings!

  9. Bf109G10 'Wilde Sau' skin & ini mods

Modification of Gramp's original 3/JG300 skin to include individual aircraft numbers and other decals (used with permission).
This mod is designed to create an entirely seperate aircraft from the original 109G10, and all inis are included.

IMPORTANT NOTE: the aircraft LOD file is =NOT= included, so you'll need to transfer over the lod from your regular Bf-109G10

There are full, detailed instructions and explinations in the enclosed readme -- so, for heaven's sake ---PLEASE read it!!!

  10. Bf-109T10 (KM) North Atlantic Gray

North Atlantic Gray/Swirl/Faded Splinter Camo for KM Bf-109T10

Another skin for my "What If..." carrier based Bf-109T10, modded from Wolf257's original G10. It represents a fictional North Atlantic Gray (ish) swirly pattern, superimposed over the splinter. The splinter has been lightly painted over, so it still should 'bleed' through. The (fictional) squadron represented is JGM100, same as that which came in the Bf-109T10 mod.

Please read the readme for install instructions, and other notes of interest.

  17. Bf-109F JG-2 skin & Ini updates

Slight modification of the original skin for Wolf's Messerschmitt Bf-109F for JG-2.
This mod adds individual aircraft numbers, squadron badge, corrects running light positions, adds a new gunsight, and a weathered/stained version of the original skin.
Note: although the numbers are the correct Blockshirft font, I was too lazy to make the usual border. Enjoy it anyway :)

Fully detailed, step-by-step instructions are in the enclosed read me -- so PLEASE read it! It'll make everyone's life easier!!

With thanks to Wolf for releasing the PSD skin template (and the original aircraft as well).

  21. ME109E 8 JG2

Second skin in a series for Russo's Me109e. This skin represents 8/JG2 during the summer of 1940 and uses the speckling technique of overpainting common to aircraft of this Geshwader. The base scheme is a standard RLM 71/02 upper surface with lower surfaces in RLM 65. Nose and tail overpainted in RLM 04. All colors in this series are based on the standard values found at SimmersPaintShop, but are interpreted by me as far as fading goes, so they will appear different from other skins, or profiles, you might have seen. Also, my aircraft numbers appear in a more random order, because this is how I feel aircraft were flown in the field.

All skins in this series borrow heavily from Russouk2004's .psd. I am indebted to him, and to Wrench, for their help. A full readme file is enclosed. If you want to mod this, feel free, I believe in the Freeware agreement I signed on to, just give credit where credit is due.

    Hope you like it.

  22. 9-JG54

Third skin in the series for the Battle of Britain Me-109e. This skin uses a different overpainting technique. The standard 71/02/65 scheme has been hastily overpainted on the sides in RLM 71 using a paintbrush. Two bitmaps are included in this skin; one with overpainting, the other a standard 71/02/65. You could use this standard paint scheme for any of your Me-109e skins, just rename 109ETexA.BMP by removing the A after renaming your original bitmap. Also enclosed is a complete readme.

My thanks go out to Russo, Wrench, and Gocad for the use of their files, and their help and ideas. Any questions or problems, pm me.

    Hope you enjoy,

  23. ME109E 2 JG3

This skin represents 2/JG3 during the late Battle of Britain period. The scheme is the later RLM 74/75 Gray upper surfaces with RLM 65 lower surfaces. The nose and tail have been overpainted in RLM 04 yellow for ease of recognition. Lots of information is presented in the readme, please read it.

This skin, and all from this series I'm going to present, makes extensive use of Russouk2004's .psd file. All the detail work; panel lines, rivets, weathering, etc., is Russo's. I am indebted to him for allowing me to use these parts of his file without restriction. I painted the underlying camouflage and created the decals, which include numbers for 16 aircraft and kill markings up to thirty kills. Hopefully, someday, I will possess one third of Russo's skill at creating detail work, until then, I'm grateful he's allowed me to use his, so I can at least get a start in skinning.

I hope you enjoy this, and the others to come....

  25. JG2 and JG3 decal update

These files update the decals for my Me109e skins. I inadvertantly uploaded files with miskeyed decal levels for the kill markings that would prevent them from showing. I also uploaded an old version of the JG3 decal folder that lacked the kill marking decals. My apologies.

Just unzip these to a temporary directory and copy and paste the enclosed decal.ini and D folder into the proper skins folders. These have been tested and do work.

    Learning the hard way....
