F/A-18A Hornet Template

This set of templates is for the excellent MDD F/A-18A Hornet add-on aircraft by The Mirage Factory and Flying Toaster. It was made using the original textures by Column5 as a guide. While I replaced most of the skins, there are some parts taken directly from the originals, such as the landing gear legs, slimers and a couple of other mechanical bits.
Updated or enhanced:
New wheels (from photos)
New Landing gear and airbrake wells/doors
New exhausts (afterburner from photo)
New cockpit/instruments (from photos)
Many corrected or added panel lines and rivets
Feel free to make as many skins as you'd like with these templates, but please leave the credits layer intact.
This template pack may not be used in payware without express permission from myself and Column5.

Layered F-5E templates

F-104G Photoshop Template

This is the Photoshop template I used to create my F-104G skins. I left untouched most of the layers so you will be able to adjust the weathering to your taste quickly.
Included in the files are the base layers for both standard NATO camouflage and natural metal finish.
I've spent several hours creating these files so, if you're going to use them in a public release, just give me some credit for them
These files are for the stock ThirdWire F-104G only.

MiG-19S 1024x1024 Skin templates

MiG-19 Farmer 1024 Skin template:
These are new templates, based off and resized from the original little itty bity ones as originally issued by 3rd Wire. I call these "semi-HiRez, as they are now resized to 1024x1024
This set is designed to allow you to create new skins, either natural metal or camoflague types.
I've redrawn, as best I can, all the panel, rivet lines, inspection plates, etc. Some of the rivet placement is a 'best guess', as the original size of the bmp was ONLY 256x256, and are badly blurred.
The base skin color is a 10-15% gray, which when adjusted for in the textureset ini, will look like semi-polished natural metal.
Please see the enclosed readme for more information, and other interesting tid-bits.

These are new templates, based off and resized from the original little itty bity ones as originally issued by 3rd Wire. I call these "semi-HiRez, as they are now resized to 1024x1024...to me HiRez is anything OVER 2048!!
This set is designed to allow you to create new skins, either natural metal or camoflague types. I have NOT plotted out the overlaps for camos, but this can easily be done in you imaging program (Photoshop, Gimp, PSP, etc) by enlarging the camo skin bmps, and adding them as another layer. Repainting should be relatively easy after that.

I just CAT extracted and resized a WoI stock Israeli insignia and done some tga`s...
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Ive tested it on the above planes, should work on all subversions of the single planes...hopefully! ;-)
The kill marks will appear on each plane left right under the canopy...only exception r MiG-17/19s,
so pls be aware it may cover other decals used by your skin! Remove other decal, Repos it or the killmarks, Resize whatever you fancy!
MiG-15/Mig-29/La-15/Hunters/F-14(IrAF)/Mirage5D/Yak-25/Yak-28/Yak-41/Sukhoi-planes, maybe more will follow in future versions!
Also im planing some alternative tgas for all those brave Soviet/VNAF/NKAF out there, and/or some specific conflicts/campaigns killmark...like Lebanon Israel vs Syria, Iran vs Iraq or so...

DESCRIPTION:
This is a template for the original WOI F-16a Netz,
It has the following features:
- Selection mask for overspray areas
- Base color is now one plain tan color instead of the IDF camo,
this might be a more practical base for new skins. as the
old camo edges are hard to remove.
- You can enable layers that make it an USAF hill grey scheme.
- Decals related files included for the USAF scheme.
