      Alternative Flight Models for Bortdafarms 3D Models. Thanks to Bort for the wonderful models, and allowing and encouraging me to do alternative Flight Models. Please contact me on the CombatAce forum not Bort if there are any issues.
       
      EWS "Early War Set" as they are "consistent" in terms of plane performance with themselves and the other EWS FMs I have done - as I see it, at least, with gameplay also a factor, and in Hard FM Mode only. There are quite a few differences between Normal and Hard Modes, impossible to have the planes consistent for both modes. However having said that, they are certainly flyable in Normal.
       
      These FMs are built on Borts set available at CombatAce in July 2007. Bort continues to update his models, and his changes may result in some anomalies in my FMs - usually pilot/gun positions.
       
      The pack includes 16 FMs - PfalzBI, FokkerBI, FokkerBII, FokkerDII, FokkerDIII, FokkerDIIIL, FokkerEIV, HalberstadtDII, HalberstadtDIII, AlbatrosDI, AlbatrosDII, AlbatrosDIIL, AlbatrosDIIoef, Avro504C, Avro504D, MartinsydeG100.

      Thankyou to Laton for producing these great early war models, hopefully there will be many more! And its been a real pleasure working with Laton and v.Deutschmark as a team.

      UPDATE and additions.
       
      Flight Models for some of the A-Teams 3D Models, Aladars Dh2, Laton's fokkerD8 and most of Thirdwires planes. This will be the last change, until some time after TKs upcoming addon.
       
      This is an update to the previous download, with the addition of 5 2-seaters, PfalzD12, Fokker D8. But there have been quite a few changes to previous versions - see forum topic "What do you think?"
       
      Includes 26 FMs - Sopwith Pup, Sopwith Triplane, Fe2B, F2B Brisfit, AlbatrosD3, Dh2, Sopwith Camel, Sopwith Dolphin, Sopwith Snipe, SpadVII, PfalzD3, ShuckertD3, FokkerDr1, PfalzD8,PfalzD12, FokkerD7, FokkerD7F, AlbatrosD5a, Se5a, Spad13, AviatikC2, BE-2D, Bregeut14,DFWC5,RolandC2/Walfisch, FokkerD8.
       
      The FMs should be considered beta. They are optimised for Hard Flight Model. The AI is excellent.

      this is the re-engined version with extended ailerons
      I found half a dozen different versions of this aircraft all described as the DIII
      most don't fit the statistical descriptions ..but the photos show the extended ailerons larger wheels,
      and the engine with a side mounted exhaust sytem running back along the side of the fuselage
      and the DII centre section strut configuration with an additional set sloping forward over the engine bay etc...
      so here it is....marginally faster and marginally better aileron response..

    21. SPAD 13 to 12 and 7 conversion

      No remodeling or repaints.
      Since SPAD 7, 12 and 13 use nearly the same airframe, I've created the new planes via FM edit i.e. by adjusting speed, engine power, weight and armaments.
       
      SPAD VII is armed with single Vickers MG (the right one of the stock SPAD). Compared to SPAD XII Engine performance is lower an so is the weight. Available since summer 1916.
       
      SPAD XII Ca. is a rare bird. There were only 300 of them built. The plane features a 37mm Hotchkiss cannon with muzzle placed at the prop spinner. Cannon has to be manually reloaded after each shot - the reload takes 10 secs(the stock reload sound lasts 6 secs, though). You also have one Vickers MG with reduced ammo. Engine performance is between the ones of SPAD VII and SPAD XIII. Weighs more than S.XIII so take care, especially when bearing a bomb.
       
      Warning: the 37mm is set up as 'Secondary weapon' so you should have a key assigned to firing it in the controls menu. The AI will fight using Vickers only. I've tried another setup but they ended up never hitting with cannons and barely shooting MGs.
       
      Update for Patch 2.. and apparently the previous update was pretty messed up (entry dates, mass, hp) which I didn't notice and no one complained This update is more thoroughly checked
       
      Installation: unpack to ObjectsAircraft folder. Copy all *Camo folders from SPAD13 to SPAD7 and SPAD12.

      This is just a mod of the original Nieuport 17 to represent an early model with lewis wing gun.I didn't think of or invent any of the procedures to make it I just appied them to the N17 to get the Vickers off and add the lewis.thanks to MontyCZ and Texmurphy for the original Nieuport 17 and to Capun for allowing me to use his PT17 wing gun.please direct any questions about this mod to me at the below places.while the stats for the wing gun are correct for a Lewis the model is no 100% correct.If someone makes a "true" lewis gun in the future i'll see about adding it if I can secure permission.This Mod includes 2 "Original" skins,A French camo and a Russion.They include the work of the original authors and I take no credit for that.
       
      Any skins for the original should work with this one although you will need to adjust the decal.ini

      if for example you fly a early war aircraft and select 1914-17 as the year in the mission screen..
      then only aircraft of that era will be loaded into the mission
      so this aircraft allows you to fly in the correct period and have some slightly more appropiate targets/enemys
