  1. Skinpack for stock SPAD VII's

    Default skinpack for stock SPAD VII's.
    There are two skins - for French and Russian aviation.
    I tried to add some "photorealistic" textures for more impressive image of this aircraft.
    I removed wing's cockades and rudder's emblems from "Decals.ini" because they were integrated in my skin.

  2. SPAD XIII Skin pack of Escadrille 561 for First Eagles 2, Gold & 1

    SPAD XIII Skin pack of Escadrille 561 for First Eagles 2, Gold & 1.
    Just adding small complements and personal markings to the original stock game skins, to represent the SPADs XIII used by ESC 561 in Italy.
    This skin pack depict all known SPAD XIII as was Flown by Sgt André Lévy, Lt Xavier Garros and an Unknown pilot, of Escadrille 561 at Venice, Italy during 1918.
    Historical notes:
    - Sgt Andre Lévy was the sole ace of Escadrille 561, claiming one Austrian seaplane on November 17th, 1917, and as much as five balloons from June to September 1918, before being shot down by the Flak, just after his last kill (and the last of ESC 561 in WW1), over another balloon. Made prisoner, at Mulbach prision camp on November 2. After two attemts he escaped, climbed an 8,000 ft. mountain to return to Lido airbase on November 6th. He was made Chévalier de La Légion d'Honneur, the Médaille Militaire and Croix de Guerre with two Étoiles de bronze. He was also awarded the Italian Croce di Guerra, two Medaglie d'Oro and two Medaglie da Bronzo al Valore Militare. He passed away on March 12, 1973.
    - Lt Xavier Garros claimed two Austrian seaplanes (One Lohner T and one W.13) while flying in ESC 561.

    SPAD VII Skin pack of Escadrille 561 for First Eagles 2, Gold & 1. 
    Just adding small complements and personal markings to the original stock game skins, to represent the SPADs VII used by ESC 561 in Italy. (I'm adding two versions
    one for SPAD7_150 and other for SPAD7_180).
    This skin pack depict all known SPAD VII as was Flown by Ltt Frédéric Loiseau, Ltt Jean De Limur, Slt Pierre de Jumilhac of Escadrille 561 at Venice, Italy during
    late 1917 early 1918.
    Historical notes:
    - Ltt Frédéric Loiseau after the war, become famous, crossing in 1929 the Sahara desert with a Bugatti Type 40: 11,500 kilometers of unpaved roads and desert. In
    1930 Loiseau wrote a book about his adventure “A cent a l’heure a travers le Sahara”.
    - Ltt Jean De Limur after the war, become actor in Hollywood and a renowned film director.

  4. Default camo skin for SPAD 13's family

    It's the time of default skin for the most popular stock aircraft of all flight sims about WW1 - SPAD 13.
    I tried to add some "photorealistic" textures for more impressive image of this aircraft.
    I removed wing cockardes and rudder's tricolor from "Decals.ini" because they were integrated in my skin.
    Put folder "D' into "Objects/Decals/SPAD13".

  6. SPAD XIII 138th Aero Sq

    SPAD XIII C1. for First Eagles 2 & 1
    This is a skin for SPAD XIII C1. "SHOWBIRDS" to be used in  First Eagles 2 and 1
    Historical notes:
    This skin depict the SPAD XIII C1. Former "Flag Bus" as was Flown by Major Maxwell Kirby commander of 5th Pursuit Group.Germany, Koblenz late, 1919.
    Major Maxwell Kirby achieved his sole victory, when serving with the 94th Aero squadron.
    When the 94th was returned to the United States, their aircraft went to the 138th AS while still wearing the "showbirds" colours. However the squadron insignia was removed by the pilots of the 94th, and this was replaced with that of the 138th. The emblem of the 138th was the "Charging Ram" within the 'V' signifying the FIFTH PURSUIT GROUP. The 138th Ultimately returned to the USA and disbanded in August-September 1919.
    Many of these aircraft then had a further lease on life then they were transferred to the new Polish Air Service.

    SPAD XIII C1. "Flag Bus" for First Eagles 2 & 1
    This is a skin for SPAD XIII C1. "SHOWBIRDS" to be used in  First Eagles 2 and 1
    Historical notes:
    This skin depict the SPAD XIII C1. Flown by Captain Reed Chambers of 94th Aero Squadron. 
    Ft. Alexander, Koblenz, Germany. April of 1919.
    Captain Reed Chambers achieved 7 confirmed victories in WW1, flying with 94th Aero Squadron. 
    The pilots of the 94th Aero Squadron decided to paint their SPAD XIIIs. In an attempt to outdo one another they came up with what were termed the "showbirds". The planes were painted up for the April 1919 Air show at Koblenz. 
    During the Spring of 1919, "Flag Bus" took part of the "Showbirds" SPADs during the occupation duties in Germany, with more eight colourfull SPADs of 94th Aero Squadron.

    This is a skin for SPAD XIII C1. "SHOWBIRDS" to be used in  First Eagles 2 and 1 
    Historical notes:
    This skin depict the SPAD XIII C1. Flown by Lieutenant Dudley "Red" Outcalt of 94th Aero Squadron. 
    Ft. Alexander, Koblenz, Germany. April of 1919.
    The pilots of the 94th Aero Squadron decided to paint their SPAD XIIIs. In an attempt to outdo one another they came up with what were termed the "showbirds". The planes were painted up for the April 1919 Air show at Koblenz. 
    During the Spring of 1919, "Barber Pole" took part of the "Showbirds" SPADs during the occupation duties in Germany, with more eight colourfull SPADs of 94th Aero Squadron.
    This Aircraft flew probablly with Marlin guns, and not with Vickers.

    known issues:
    Painting the stripes in spirals was a problem because at the end of the tail's aircraft, there is a distortion that pulls all the lines back. I connected the stripes with each other as far as was possible; so you may notice imperfections in the bottom side.

    Ft. Alexander, Koblenz, Germany. April of 1919.
    Lt. Leo Dawson achieved 4 victories in WW1, flying with 94th Aero Squadron.

    Ft. Alexander, Koblenz, Germany. April of 1919. Lt. Robert W. Donaldson achieved one shared victory in WW1, flying with the 94th Aero Squadron.
    The pilots of the 94th Aero Squadron decided to paint their SPAD XIIIs. In an attempt to outdo one another they came up with what were termed the "showbirds".   13. SPAD XIII Lightning Bolt

    SPAD XIII C1. "Lightning Bolt" for First Eagles 2 & 1
    This is a skin for SPAD XIII C1. "SHOWBIRDS" to be used in  First Eagles 2 and 1
    Historical notes:
    This skin depict the SPAD XIII C1. Flown by Lieutenant Harvey Weir Cook of 94th Aero Squadron. 
    Ft. Alexander, Koblenz, Germany. April of 1919.
    Lieutenant Harvey Weir Cook achived 7 confirmed victories in WW1, flying with 94th Aero Squadron.
    The pilots of the 94th Aero Squadron decided to paint their SPAD XIIIs. In an attempt to outdo one another they came up with what were termed the "showbirds". The planes were painted up for the April 1919 Air show at Koblenz. 
    During the Spring of 1919, "Lightning Bolt" took part of the "Showbirds" SPADs during the occupation duties in Germany, with more eight colourfull SPADs of 94th Aero Squadron.

    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS :
    This skin do not uses decal files, so will be easy install.
    To install this skin and ini file, copy or drop the folder named "Lightning Bolt" in any SPAD 13 aircraft folder that you wish. (it will work with all SPAD 13). 
    *ATTENTION*
    In order to work properly on your loadout menu option, inside the "Lightning Bolt" folder, there is a TXT file that you must open and COPY the content into your SPAD13_XXX.ini.

  18. Spad XII of Raoul Lufbery of the Lafayette Escadrille

    This skin represents the SPAD VII flown by American ace Raoul Lufbery flying in the Lafayette Escadrille. Also known to have been flown by Didier Masson, and other Lafayette pilots. Note that the swastika was an ancient good luck symbol long before Hitler used it.
    This skin can be installed to the default SPAD13 folder or you can download the SPAD13 to 12 and 7 conversion by Gr.Viper here at Combatace.com and install to the SPAD7 folder for more historical accuracy. Note: skin is not 100% accurate as it fits the Spad13 model-

  19. Spad VII of Capitaine Thenault and R. Lufbery of Lafayette Escadrille

    This skin represents the SPAD VII flown by Capitaine Georges Thenault and American ace Raoul Lufbery flying in the Lafayette Escadrille. The butterfly emblem is the personal marking of Thenault and the three red coup marks are Lufbery's. (Coup marks come from Native American war markings on the sides of their horses.)
     
    This skin can be installed to the default SPAD13 folder or you can download the SPAD13 to 12 and 7 conversion by Gr.Viper here at Combatace.com and install to the SPAD7 folder for more historical accuracy. Note: skin is not 100% accurate as it fits the Spad13 model-

  22. Eddie Rickenbacker SpadXIII

    This is a skin of American ace Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker's Spad XIII. Rickenbacker raced autos on the dangerous high-banked board tracks before the war. He would go on to own and operate the Indianapolis Motor Speedway years later.
    In WWI he earned 26 victories, America's highest scoring ace until WWII. This earned him the French Croix de Guerre and the Medal of Honor.

  23. Major Harold Hartney's SpadXIII

    This is a skin of Major Harold Hartney's Spad XIII. Hartney was born and raised in Canada. He entered the Royal Flying Corps early in the war and survived being shot down by Manfred von Richthofen.
    Hartney was promoted to Major in 1917 and placed in command of the American 27th Aero Squadron. He was credited with 7 kills and earned the Distinguished Service Cross. He became an American citizen in 1923.

  24. Frank Luke's Spad XIII

    This is a skin of Frank Luke Jr.'s Spad XIII. From Arizona, he became know as "the Arizona balloon buster" for his agressive attacks on observation balloons. In only 17 days he shot down 10 balloons and four enemy aircraft. The day he was killed he downed three balloons, his plane was disabled by ground fire and was forced to land behind enemy lines. He was soon surrounded but drew his sidearm and exchanged fire before he was killed. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross and the Medal of Honor. Luke Airforce base is named in his honor.

    This skin represents the Spad XIII flown by 1st Lt. Karl Schen of the 139th Aero Squadron
    He had seven victories confirmed.
    Schoen was Killed in action on the 29th of October 1918 mere minutes after his last two kills.
