    3. F-14A/B/D Tomcats of The Unsung War (Ace Combat 5)

      What is it?
      A collection of skins for TMF's F-14s featuring the F-14 Tomcats of  Ace Combat 5 :The Unsung War, a total of 6 skins for the F-14A_96 (1), F-14B_96 (1), F-14D_92 (1) and F-14D_96 (2).

      Featuring :

5th Fighter Wing, 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Wardog" (F-14A_96 and F-14D_96):

The 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Wardog", also referred to as Wardog Squadron, was an auxiliary squadron of the Osean Air Defense Force's 5th Fighter Wing stationed at Sand Island Air Force Base.

Wardog Squadron was at the forefront of the Circum-Pacific War from its onset. The squadron underwent several changes in command the first day of the war and went on to serve in many of the war's decisive engagements. The Wardog pilots' tactical efficiency was lauded by the Osean military and feared by the Yuktobanians, earning them several nicknames—most famously, "The Demons of Razgriz".
Both F-14A and F-14D skins included.

Captain Jack "Heartbreak One" Bartlett (F-14D_92) :

Captain Jack Bartlett, callsign "Heartbreak One", was an Osean pilot, captain, flight leader, and training instructor of the Osean Air Defense Force's Wardog Squadron.
A veteran F-14 pilot of the Belkan War, Bartlett possessed a distrust of authority and an unwavering loyalty to his trainees, whom he affectionately referred to as "nuggets". In 2010, Bartlett played an important role in both the outbreak and resolution of the Circum-Pacific War between Osea and Yuktobania.
Features the F-14D that Bartlett flew during the Belkan War.
      VFA-206 (F-14B_96) :

VFA-206 was an Osean Maritime Defense Force fighter squadron and the carrier air wing of the 3rd Osean Naval Fleet's flagship, the OFS Kestrel.
After the fugitive Wardog pilots were brought aboard the Kestrel on December 7, Captain Marcus Snow, being the last member of VFA-206, joined them in the newly formed Razgriz Squadron. VFA-206 was likely disbanded after Snow's reassignment to Ragriz Squadron.
      Features Snow's F-14B
Razgriz Air Command Squadron (F-14D_96) :

The Razgriz Air Command Squadron, more commonly referred to as Razgriz Squadron and also known as "The Ghosts of Razgriz", was a secret squadron mostly comprised of the survivors of the OADF's Wardog Squadron in the final month of the Circum-Pacific War.
During its brief existence, Razgriz Squadron was created by and served under the direct command of Osean President Vincent Harling, and was stationed aboard the OFS Kestrel. Under their new mantel as the demonic hero of Strangereal folklore, the Razgriz pilots executed a series of covert engagements, which ultimately led to the war's resolution and the defeat of the Grey Men.
Features both a livery with Osean Markings, and one without Osean Markings.
      Pilots :
Each plane's number also corresponds to their respective pilot :

      "Blaze" (The Player) - (016)
      Kei "Edge" Nagase - (007)

      Alvin "Chopper" Davenport - (008)
      Hans "Archer" Grimm - (024)

      Marcus "Swordsman" Snow - (211)

      Jack "Heartbreak One" Bartlett (003)

    4. Su-34 Fullback skin pack and bits for SF2

I began to made this skinset since the original one was not of my taste and ended up making some others fictitious.

Must mention since the model is no longer available, the skins apply for the lucky ones who has it.

Grey-Blue and Platypus skins, represent production aircraft already in service, while Soviet Navy and Forest ones represent fictitious planes for use in deep Europe and maritime.

Additionally, i'm adding a Hangar, loadout and loading pics to add some flavor to the game.

Su-34.ini has been modified to use my planes in first place, but that can be easily changed, for the plane of your choice.

I´m also using a couple of pilots made by The Trooper, with a big thanks to him.

Last i want to thank to Daniel "Cocas" Lieabert and Martin Kratochvil (76.IAP BlackBird) for their kind advise to create this skins, and the patience they had to me.

Skins are intended to be used by anyone here, can be shared and given away for everybody, but cannot be used as payware of any class.

Hope you all have fun with them.

      Best Regards.

    6. F-15C Galm Team (Ace Combat Zero)

      Updated Version (09/09/17)

      What is it?
It's a paintscheme for the F-15C Eagle of the Ustio Air Force 6th Air Division, 66th Air Force Unit "Galm", from the game Ace Combat Zero. For F-15C (85).
The Galm Team are a Mercenary Unit hired by Ustio and attached to the 6th Air Division. In the opening days of the Belkan War, Ustio lost 70% of their Air Forces and needed to find replacements quickly. The use of "Unofficial Assets" AKA foreign mercanaries became valid and the Galm Team was hired. Since then, they've become one of the most famous units in the war and have become known by their Allies and their enemies. They are supported by AWACS Eagle Eye and are deployed from Valais Air Base.
During one encounter with the feared Schwarze Wing they were called "The Mercenary Dream Team". The name stuck with them.
The Galm Team had participated in every major battle that the Allied Forces had undertaken, during the Belkan War. Cipher and Pixy had gained much recognition from their Allies for their amazing feats of skill and from their enemies in many ways. Some of it respect, fear or hatred.
      Galm One
      Name: Unknown
      Callsign: Cipher
      Nationality:Ustio
Age: Late 20's to early 30's
      Sex: Male
      "The Demon Lord"
The leader of the 66th AFU of the Ustian 6th Air Division. A feared Ace, who trailed across the skies, bringing doom and destruction. One could say he is like the Razgriz, bringing death upon the land,( the first part of the war). Then he enters sleep, during the "6 Months Of Void"", then comes back as a hero defeating Pixy and his V2 from destroying the world. Little is known about him or where he went after the Belkan War. (player's character).
      Galm Two
      Name: Larry Foulke
      Callsign: Pixy
      Nationality: Belka
      Age: 28 (in 1995) 38 (in 2005)
      Sex: Male
      "A Brother in Arms".
Joined the Coup D'état forces and A World With No Boundaries after defecting from the Ustio Mercenary unit. It is rumored that he is currently a soldier in a volunteer army in a small country in Usea but, the info is still unconfirmed.

    8. Early F-14A Tomcat Paint Schemes: The Gulls - Part 1 v1.11

Early F-14A Tomcat Paint Schemes: The Gulls - Part 1 v1.11

This F-14 Tomcat Skin Pack is designed for the TMF F-14 Tomcat Super Pack (Any version, V1.14-1.20, or even the baseline Tomcat Pack from 2010). It represents eight F-14A Tomcat squadrons during the airframe's Vietnam-era introduction until the late 1970's (ca. 1978-1980), as the squadrons began to tone down. It is called "The Gulls" because the F-14's paint schemes early on included an overall light gloss gull gray with white control surfaces and underside, as well as very high visibility squadron markings like the F-4 and F-8 before it. I've always loved the Tomcat in its high-viz glory, and decided to compile a set of skins that represented the F-14 in its early years. The aircraft bureau numbers are included on each aircraft, and I logged them to the best of my ability; some aircraft were uncertain, so I narrowed it down to the block to find unassigned BuNo's. Any uncertain airframes, then, are at least from the proper block, and are few and far between.

These skins are valid until about 1978, the big changes over time weren't so much the colors as much as the bureau numbers of the aircraft. Some aircraft were lost to engine explosions, cold catapult launches, overrunning the deck, etc. during their inaugural cruise. Those others could have been involved in several cruises, but some may have been transferred to other squadrons and replaced with new build aircraft, so all aircraft modeled here are from the initial cruise of the listed squadrons.

This work was based in part on the Mirage Factory originals (listed in the original credits as being the work of Column5), and also some of Spectre8750's skins from the Super Pack as well, so I must thank them for providing the basis for the work. There was still quite a bit that went into making the updates even to squadrons which appear relatively unchanged (esp. VF-1, -2 and -84) to include wholly new decal sets for aircraft numbers and bureau numbers. VF-14, -32 and -41, -114 and -213 on the other hand, were done just about from scratch with the exception of VF-41's tail stripes.

The squadrons represented in Part 1 v1.11 are:

      VF-1 Wolf Pack 1974-1978
      VF-2 Bounty Hunters 1974-1978
      VF-14 Tophatters 1974-1978
      VF-32 Swordsmen 1974-1978
      VF-41 Black Aces 1976-1978
      VF-84 Jolly Rogers 1976-1980
      VF-114 Aardvarks 1976-1979
      VF-213 Black Lions 1976-1979

      =============
      NOTE:
This does not contain any aircraft! It is a set of skins. You must have the Mirage Factory F-14 Tomcat Super Pack or 2010 Mirage Factory Tomcat installed for this skin set to work!
      =============

      1. Go to your SF2 Mod Directory
      Ex: C:\User\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\

      2. Copy the Objects folder included in this archive over your Objects folder

      3. Allow the files to overwrite. I have set up the folder structure to match the default structure of the game's mod folder (Objects/Aircraft/F-14A_74/file, and Objects/Decals/F-14A_74/file, respectively)

3a. You may need to add the aircraft's TextureSet to the F-14A_74.ini file. To do so, open each new skin's folder and copy the textureset data from the respective textureset.ini into your F-14A_74.ini file, incrementing based on the last TextureSet number.

      NOTE:
This series of skins are similar to some of the baseline F-14A_74 skins in the Super Pack by name and years. Feel free to rename any of the skins to avoid confusion.

      4. Go Fly!

      v1.11 Changes:
      1. Fixed VF-84's anti-glare paint.

      v1.1 Changes:

Fixed VF-1 tail, small gray smudge ended up on the rudders
Changed all BEWARE OF BLAST warning text under BuNo's to red to match real-world text used at the time

      F-22A Raptor Skin Pack
      October 13th, 2021 (1st Release)
      by Menrva

      >For Strike Fighters 2 games
This is an extra skin pack for the high quality F-22A Raptor aircraft add-on. Most skins are based on ideas and depictions from other videogames. Here below a list of the included ones:
-YF-22 Paint Scheme (inspired by the real YF-22 prototype)
-Sea Raptor Livery (inspired by the F-22N Sea Raptor concept)
-Saudi Grey Camouflage (as depicted in Digital Image Design's F-22 Total Air War)
-Egyptian Woodland Camouflage (as depicted in Digital Image Design's F-22 Total Air War)
-USAF Pac West Camouflage (as depicted in Digital Image Design's F-22 Total Air War)
-Desert Lightning Camouflage (as depicted in NovaLogic's F-22 Lightning 3)
-Phoenix Livery (from Namco Hometek's Air Combat, as depicted in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown)
-Phoenix Livery, Dark (as depicted in Project Aces' Ace Combat Infinity)
-Scarface One Livery (as depicted in Namco Hometek's Ace Combat 2)
-Z.O.E., Red Livery (from Namco Hometek's Ace Combat 2, as depicted in Project Aces' Ace Combat Infinity)
-Mobius One, ISAF Livery (as depicted in Project Aces' Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies)
-Abell, Black Livery (as depicted in Project Aces' Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies)

-Gryphus One Livery (from Access Games' Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception, as depicted in Project Aces' Ace Combat Infinity)
-Warwolf Livery (as depicted in Project Aces' Ace Combat: Assault Horizon)
-Mobius One, IUN Livery (as depicted in Project Aces' Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown)
-Trigger Livery (as depicted in Project Aces' Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown)
-JASDF 2-Tone Blue Camouflage (as depicted in Project Aces' Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown)
As a bonus, different aircraft configuration files are included in the "(Alternative Data)" folder. You'll be able to choose between realistic loadouts (default configuration of the aircraft add-on package) and what-if loadouts inspired by the mentioned F-22 videogames of the late 90s, namely weapons included in F-22 Lightning 3. Both configurations are also available with the addition of invisible skids; those will allow you to perform belly landings, which are a feature of good old F-22 Total Air War.
      Notes:
-The B61 tactical nuclear bomb is a retarded version, but drop it safely from high altitude at high speed. Take note that it does not damage the stock Runway object, due to the armor values of it. The B61 is meant to be used against naval fleets you may encounter on some custom terrains.
-You need to tweak the SoundList.ini file in order to fully experience any new sounds. Read "(Add to SoundList)" for further details, and remember to extract the SoundList.ini file from the FlightData.cat archive, if you do not have a custom one in your mod folder already.

      >Credits (in no particular order):
-yakarov79, for his high quality templates which allowed me to easily put some new paint on the aircraft.
-ravenclaw_007, for sharing some of his latest weapon 3d models for the bonus what-if loadouts.
-Astore, for providing me with better Ace Combat themed emblems, and for being one of the few Italian Ace Combat fans like me.
-godrugalultimate, from DeviantArt, for making incredibly detailed Ace Combat themed decals.
-RythusOmega, for providing all Ace Combat 7 emblems and whose skins have been used as reference for the Phoenix liveries.
-Lanzerince, whose Ace Combat 7 skins have been used as reference for the Scarface livery.
-mue, for his LOD Viewer which helped immensely in the making of the skins.
-Blade, for sharing info about the purpose of the game's decal levels.
-My girlfriend, for supporting me in all of my endeavours.

      >Disclaimer:
This is a freeware; yet it can be redistributed ONLY in other CombatACE mods/mod packages.
This mod may NOT in any way, shape or form be used in any payware additions.

    11. Ethiopian AF Su-27 Flanker

Ethiopian AF Su-27 Flanker Skin Pak 2/10/2011

      = For SF2, Any and All =

A new skin/decal pak for the Marcfighters Su-27, representing EtAF Flankers from the late 1990s to the present.

A new "Userlist.ini" is included (may not be fully accurate, and changes/updates are welcomed!), as well as slightly tweeked data, avionics and cockpit inis (made some general fixes in regards to things not working/missing/fitting quite right). Weapons are NOT included, so you'll need the GunnyPak or some other full WeaponsPak for SF2. You also =MUST= have the Su-27 in your game install (doh!) to install this pak to.

These skins have been partly repainted (with redrawn panel and rivet lines) in several areas to remove the painted-on markings creating a 'blank' canvas to allow for the use of decals for ALL markings. The side effect of that, is other countries can easily be created by simple edits of the decals ini. On this version, as stated above, ALL the markings used here are decals. Serial numbers are 'best guess' based on the limited information (both text and photographic) available.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them!

      SF2 Lockheed YF-12A "Starduster" (Veltro2K) Redux...
      by Viper63a

This started out as an add-on pack to the "What If... SF2 Lockheed (Y)F-12A Starduster by Veltro2K" pack released by Wrench, but by the time I got done with it...it became a stand alone pack. Nothing else is required, but if you want to download the inspiration for this pack, you can find it here...

      http://combatace.com/topic/76491-what-if-sf2-lockheed-yf-12a-starduster-by-veltro2k/

This pack adds the YF-12A "Starduster" and a new 1950/60s era pilot in grey flight suit. Comes complete with new skins, Hangar, Loading, Loadout and Decal files.

As always, I recommend that you back up your mod folder before you install any new mod...just in case.

      * To install, simply unzip and copy the contents of the "To_Mod_Folder" folder to your StrikeFighter2 mod folder and Overwrite (if needed).

My StrikeFighter2 mod on Win97 64-bit was..(yours may be different)...

      C:\Users\<your_id>\Saved Games\Thirdwire\StrikeFighter2...

Original "Readmes" are in the Extra folder with some other goodies...

      Enjoy!

    16. RA-5C Vigilante Over Vietnam

This is simple skin pack for RA-5C Vigilante over Vietnam.
RA-5C and RVAH squadrons deployed 33 times in SEA during Vietnam War.
But in this pack you have one painting for every year of service during Vietnam War. Diferent units. Some wil apear twice like RVAH-11 and 12. As extra for 1966 there are two skins. So everything is 12 skin sets.
Actualy there is not much of skin differences here. Most work is in the decals section.

      Pack includes:

      1965 RVAH-13 USS Kitty Hawk
      1966 RVAH-6 USS COnstellation *
      1967 RVAH-12 USS Constellation
      1968 RVAH-11 USS KItty Hawk
      1969 RVAH-9 USS Ranger
      1970 RVAH-1 USS Ranger
      1971 RVAH-11 USS Constellation
      1972 RVAH-7 USS Kitty Hawk
      1973 RVAH-5 USS Ranger
      1974 RVAH-5 USS Constellation
      1975 RVAH-12 USS Enterprise

      * Here are two paint schemes for one year. First works from January to June second July - December of 1966.
At the beginig all 6 aircrafts of unit were paintet in experimental camo. Later they chenged to original grey over white paint scheme. So here in single mission pack green camo will apear only unitl end of June 1966 and then standard grey/white camo for RVAH-6.

All serial numbers are historicaly correct and matched with modex number. (Hope)
If I was not sure or have no information about number/modex it is marked on number.lst file.
During service many RA-5C were lost. My tailnumbers mostly are original unit deployment before any replacemnt was done.

All skins are original from Julhem exelent RA-5C Vigilante V3.0.
I just resized skins and converted them into jpgs. Also I repainted some areas near cockpit. (new rescue arrows, danger triangles etc. and some stenciling)
All decals are my work exept tail template for RVAH-5 (NE and red arrow on tailfin - this comes form original Julhelm pack)
As always I was trying to put reference photos of real aircrafts. It is inside of each skin folder.

RVAH-6 green camo is my "repaint" of original skin thanks to Julhelms templates.

Unit badges are painted on skin. But there are also disabled decal.tga included in decals folder.

      Enjoy and report bugs.
      Jarek Hereda

      EXTRAS.

I made strobe pod for RA-5C. with experimental flash/strobe effect. Not satissfied full about but it is uploaded. It works as RP so you got only 64 strobe shots.
Effect should be fixed so it will be just quick instant shot.
I was thinkin about creating new proper 400gal fuel tanks for A-5/RA-5. But maybe next time.

RA-5C tailcone. - Via fake pilot I've added tailcone. So no need to load/unload empty fuel pack. It will always apear on aircraft. I like it this way.

Added Aircraft Data.ini file with correct lines for adding strobe pod and fake pilot tailcone.
If you don't like it - do not use it.
      Fixed chaff/flare positions.

thanks to Julhelm for templates and RA-5C model.

    18. F-14D Schnee (Ace Combat Zero)

      What is it?
It's a paint scheme for the F-14D Super Tomcat of the Belkan Air Force, 22nd Air Division, 4th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Schnee", from the game Ace Combat Zero.
The Belkan Air Force 22nd Air Division, 4th TFS "Schnee" Squadron operated four F-14D Super Tomcat and one EA-6B Prowler. The Schnee pilots used their aircraft to their best in battle. Their tactics rely on confusing and surrounding their enemies. Their F-14D Super Tomcats engage at both short and long distances thanks to their BVR weaponry, while the entire unit is supported by an EA-6B Prowler (not included) which jams enemy radar.
The Schnee Squadron was sent to the front-lines at the start of the Belkan War. Stationed at Curado Air Base, within the skilled 22nd Air Division, they inflicted considerable damage on southern independent state forces and helped the Belkan Air Forces push towards Ustio, mainly in aerial combat. In one account above Monte Rosa, Ustio on March 30th, the Schnee Squadron encountered two squadrons, believed to be from the Ustian 4th Air Division. The two squadrons were promptly destroyed. The Schnee Squadron is accredited with dozens of air-to-air kills such as this around the Belkan borders.
Throughout the war the Schnee Squadron saw much action; despite being shot down on more than one occasion.
It wasn't until the Schnee Squadron entered the fray in area B7R during Operation Battle Axe, that they encountered the Ustian 6th Air Division, 66th Air Force Unit 'Galm'. The battle ended with the entire Squadron being shot down in B7R.

    20. F/A-18E Grun Team (Ace Combat Zero)

      What is it?
It's a paintscheme for the FA-18E Super Hornet of the Belkan Air Force, 10th Air Division, 8th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Grun", from the game Ace Combat Zero. For FA-18E only.
The Belkan Air Force 10th Air Division, 8th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Grun" was an air unit that operated four F/A-18C Hornets. Their combat style was flexible, making them somewhat unpredictable. Their aircraft, the F/A-18C Hornet, is perfect for their ever changing role since it is capable of taking on any role it is pressed into. The pilots specialized in close in fighting and monitoring their enemy's movements in order to defeat them.
Grun One - Bernard "Owl" Schmidt
      Status: Alive
      Nationality: Belkan
His uncanny ability to read the tide of battle earned him the name of Green Owl. He was shot down over Area B7R during an encounter with mercenary Ustio pilots. After retirement, he later returned to his hometown where he continues to reside.
      Grun Two - Fabian Rost
      Status: Shot Down/Alive
      Nationality: Belkan
His whereabouts became unknown after the conclusion of the Belkan War. Information has surfaced reporting that he is now acting as a volunteer soldier in an effort to free a small eastern country from its authoritian government.
      Grun Three - Wif Scholl
      Status: Killed in Action
      Nationality: Belkan
He was enlisted in the Belkan Air Force after graduating from the Belkan Air Force Academy top of his class. For his first actual war mission, he was reunited with his former unit of the 10th Air Division 8th Tactical Fighter Squadron, but was shot down during his 23rd assault.
      Grun Four - Fritz Forster
      Status: Killed in Action
      Nationality: Belkan
Recruited as a test pilot by the Belkan Air Force where he gradually began to distinguish himself through his extraordinary flying skill. Shortly after the War's outbreak, he was officially assigned to the front lines, where he was killed in action a few months later. His remains have yet to be recovered.

I've chosen the FA-18E Super Hornet over the F/A-18C for this skin due to it's increased versatility, something I'm sure Bernard Schmidt would've appreciated.

    23. F-16A Falcon, Generic USAF/NATO Gray Skin/Decal/Ini Pak

      F-16A Falcon, Generic USAF/NATO Gray Skin/Decal/Ini Pak

      = For SF2, Full-4 Merged Required =*

*Note: at minimum, you =MUST= have SF2:I, as this mod references the cockpit, aircraft and other required items =ONLY= found within a Full-4 or SF2:I. If you don't meet these minimium criteria, don't D/L this, as you wont be able to use it*

This package expands on the work of MigBuster and others, and will allow for the creation of a stock 3W F-16A (probably Blks 1-10, although I'm not as 'up' on Falcon block numbers as I should be...).
A complete set of inis are included, fully updated as of Nov, 2011. Newly added is a Userlist.ini, although this may need expansion/clarification of StartYear dates. Changes are welcomed and encourged! -Remember, this is the Early Production A model only!!

All new Hangar and Loading screens are included. The canopy operates via a manual animation key (Shift/0, as always).
Other Ini edits remove the internal jammer, and add one to the external centerline position, and other small Loadout modifications. See "Notes" below for more info.

It should be noted at this time, that seperate from the main section of this download, are 'fixed' Decal and Textureset inis for MigBuster's F-16A skins. These skins are NOT included. You can find them in the SF2 Aircraft Skins download section (links are supplied in the "To Install" section below). BE ADVISED: install his -first!!-, then add the inis I've supplied. See below for more info on the "MigBuster Skin Fixes" in the "To Install" section.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them!! Also, don't forget the "Notes" section for expansive esplainations and other illuminations.

    25. F-5E Wardog Squadron (Ace Combat 5)

      What is it?
It's a paintscheme for the F-5E Tiger II for the Osean Air Defence Force (or Defense if you're American, or in this case, Osean), 5th Fighter Wing, 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron 'Wardog" from the game Ace Combat 5.

Wardog Leader - Jack "Heartbreak" Bartlett - (003)

Wardog 4 (Later Wardog Leader) - "Blaze" (The Player) - (016)
      Wardog 2 - Kei "Edge" Nagase - (007)

      Wardog 3 - Alvin "Chopper" Davenport - (008)
      Wardog 4 - Hans "Archer" Grimm - (024)
