SF2 F-4 Templates

My intrest in skinning for the Strike Fighters series is getting less nowadays so I've decided to release some "trimmed down" templates for a couple of the F-4's.
You can tweak/modify them as you all see fit, but just remember where you got them in the first place when you release summat.
Also, they are just basic as in one model, it might be worth copying them and renaming them with the correct model naming...ie F-4B_67_1 etc, etc.
Just remember skinning is supposed to be fun, dont get stressed about it, experiment & dont be afraid to ask questions.

As a keen 'what-iffer' I 'd especially like to see them appear where they shouldn't! So break out the Century Series, Mirages, MiGs and Sukhois and get 'whiffing' and remember to post your screenshots! I'd love to see them!

Download is really big cause the most of templates are 4096.
In this pack you have all templates for complete reskin of whole plane.
I left small jpg-s with original skins names, so you don't have to wonder on correct name.
Just overwrite them.
I left templates in resolution I did them.

Damage overlay textures for WOI/SF2 addon Aircraft

DESCRIPTION:
This pack includes damage overlay textures. These textures show
when an aircraft is damaged, showing bullet or shrapnel holes in
the surface of the aircraft. These overlays are specific for every
aircraft model, and are included in the game for all stock aircraft.
But most third party planes come with overlays of inferior quality
or non at all. I tried to remedy this for the following aircraft:
-F/A-18A by The Mirage Factory and Flying Toaster
-MiG-29A by The Mirage Factory and Olivier Anguille (BPAo)
-Su-27 by MarcFighter helped by BPAO
-F-86F by David Zurawski
-F-5E by the Mirage Factory (modeler: BPAO)
-C-130A Third Wire Stock SFP1 Aircraft
To save time I only made damage overlays for both wings and the
main part of the fuselage.
CHANGELOG:
v1.1, 15-12-2012: added C-130A
v1.2, 26-12-2012: improved F-5E
INSTALLATION:
copy the .dds files to the matching aircraft folder.
This folder also contains the aircraft ini file, open this ini file
and make sure the following two lines are included:
[DamageTexture]
DamagedPostFix=_holes.dds
ADDITIONAL INFO:
This mod was tested on WOI+addon with 2010 patch level. It should
work fine in any SF2 game as well.
SFP1,WOV and WOE can not use these textures directly, but only
after you convert .dds back to .tga with photoshop or something.
In that case use:
DamagedPostFix=_holes.tga
THANKS TO:

damage textures that were used as a basis to make the included variants.

3rd Wire F-16A Netz Templates

Layered Templates for Stock 3rdWire F-16A "Netz"
These are the PSD templates that I created from the stock bitmaps for the Netz from SF2:I.
These are NOT hi-rez, but only 1024 x 1024 maps. You can experiment with upsizing, but I personally feel that 1024 is perfect 'in middle' size, that looses no detail in game, and will keep frame rates smooth. (after all, the game engine WILL resize to fit)
Feel free to make changes, repaint -the purpose of the upload- and correct any/all errors that I may have induced. Remember, folks, I ain't Sundowner, so things won't be as pretty has his!! (Ant being the Skinning Deity)
I've left ALL my 'working' layers intacat, so there's undoubtedly a bunch of stuff you won't be needed there. Also included are templates for the pylons and drop tanks.

RafaleC.psd: the original one, done to the Squadron "EC 1/7 Provence"
and Template RafaleC.psd:
This one is the template to create another skins, separated by layers, with a layer called "Wireframe", made to you to see where the UWV mapping was made. don't use this layer when exporting
BTW, i'm not that good in the mapping, so any problems are entirely my fault

F-35A/B Lightning II updated templates
Here's my new template set for Klavs81's excellent Lightnings. I've redone the panel lines and added some extra features. There are some additional layers allowing you to switch between F-35A and F-35B versions (the skins are slightly different). The templates are saved as .psd.
I'd like to thank Klavs81 for the aircraft and original templates.
You are free to use these templates in any freeware project. No payware stuff is allowed to be made with them.
