  1. F-35A/B/C (RAF & RN)

First off, thanks to the guys that made all the stuff I used for this thing, all the credit goes to them!

This is for the F-35A/B/C. It is a set of blank skins done from Klavs81's templates and decal.ini edits to create fictional Royal Air Force and Royal Navy squadrons.
Tested on Wings Over Europe (unmerged).

The set includes the following squadrons:

Lighting II F.1 (F-35A Lighting II) - Royal Air Force
    - No. 14 Squadron, Royal Air Force
    - No. 45 Squadron, Royal Air Force
    - No. 92 Squadron, Royal Air Force
    - Generic RAF Scheme

Lighting II F.2 (F-35C Lighting II) - Royal Navy
    - No. 801 Squadron, Royal Navy
    - Royal Navy Prototype in dark grey (so that the yellow 'P' for Prototype stands out!)

Lighting II FGR.1 (F-35B Lighting II) - Royal Navy
    - No. 899 Squadron, Royal Navy

    What you get:
    - Set of skins and decal.ini edits for each squadron.
    - Bonus set of decal.ini edits that make use of the WOE stock decals for the 2 USN stock skins in the F-35C
and a repaint of the fuselage.bmp (the original one has the national insignia on the left side only).
    - A few pics that can be moded for use as loading screens.

    What you'll need:
    1. Aircraft:
    - F-35A/B/C Lightning II V 2.5 for SF2 by FastCargo - (http://combatace.com/files/file/9051-f-35abc-lightning-ii-v-25-for-sf2/).

    2. Decals:
    - Spinners' RAF Decal Pack Version 4 - (http://combatace.com/files/file/9297-spinners-raf-decal-pack-version-4/).
    - Sea Harrier FRS.2 Addon, as decal and numbers.lst source for the 801 Sqn. - (http://combatace.com/files/file/469-sea-harrier-frs2-addon/).

To install just drop the skin folder into the corresponding F-35 folder.
You have to create a decal folder for each squadron and put the corresponding decals in each folder.

    Enjoy!

  2. USAF Desert Scheme

These are desert skins for the stock TW F-4C/D, F-100D_64/68 and F-105D_66.
The F-4 desert skins don't replace the stock ones in the game, so you can still use both.
They refer to the same stock decals though.

F-4 skins made with Sundowner's templates.
    F-100D skins made with hgbn's hi-res template.
F-105D skin made with Sundowner last hi-res template (I included the bump maps)

    Installation:

I made separate folders for the various aircraft types in which you'll find the desert skin folder.
Paste the folder in the corresponding aircraft folder in your mod folder.

    That's pretty much it...

    Cheers

  3. SF 2 F-20 SKINS

Extra skins for Veltro2k’s F-20 for ThirdWire’s SF2 Series Only.

So firstly you will need Veltro2k’s F-20 and Wrench’s skin pack and updated data files installed or my addons skins may not work.

I have included fictional skins some based on F-5E skins and some completely fictional.

    They are: AGGRESSOR DESERT
    AGGRESSOR SEA
    AGGRESSOR GHOST
    AGGRESSOR SNAKE

    JASDF1

    RAF1
    RAF2

    RNZAF1
    RNZAF2

    RSAF1

    IRIAF

    ISRAEL

    EGYPT

Also included is an updated userlist file.

I have used stock decals, decals already provided by Wrench, some form Dave and Mike1, from previously uploaded F-5 and F-20 skins. Making decal serial numbers is very time consuming. So I have used the above and they may not be 100% accurate but they these skins are fictional and look about right.

To install, just cut or paste, drag and drop into the correct folders. Good idea to originally extract download to a folder outside of the game first, then either add all or just what you want.
Also make a backup of your F-20 folder and Decals first somewhere out side of the game so if you want to go back to what you originally had.

Legal stuff, I have included a copy of Mike1 and Wrench’s readme files, but did not find one attached to Dave’s Aggressor skin pack.
If you re-skin and upload any of the above you most follow correct protocols. You may modify any of my skins and upload skins but they are to remain freeware.
Wrench has included a very large userlist so they are many countries not yet skinned.
For example, take Wrench’s RNZAF Green skin, re-decal and it could become a Canadian F-20.

Thank the TK, ThirdWire and Combat Ace for games and forum, without we would not have so much fun and a place to share our artistic creations.

    James Fox. 19/12/2011

It is summer here and it cold and raining. So much for global warming. Going on holiday mid week and will be away for a little over three weeks so have a Happy Christmas all.

  4. F-14A/B/D Tomcats of The Unsung War (Ace Combat 5)

    What is it?
    A collection of skins for TMF's F-14s featuring the F-14 Tomcats of  Ace Combat 5 :The Unsung War, a total of 6 skins for the F-14A_96 (1), F-14B_96 (1), F-14D_92 (1) and F-14D_96 (2).

    Featuring :

5th Fighter Wing, 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Wardog" (F-14A_96 and F-14D_96):

The 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Wardog", also referred to as Wardog Squadron, was an auxiliary squadron of the Osean Air Defense Force's 5th Fighter Wing stationed at Sand Island Air Force Base.

Wardog Squadron was at the forefront of the Circum-Pacific War from its onset. The squadron underwent several changes in command the first day of the war and went on to serve in many of the war's decisive engagements. The Wardog pilots' tactical efficiency was lauded by the Osean military and feared by the Yuktobanians, earning them several nicknames—most famously, "The Demons of Razgriz".
Both F-14A and F-14D skins included.

Captain Jack "Heartbreak One" Bartlett (F-14D_92) :

Captain Jack Bartlett, callsign "Heartbreak One", was an Osean pilot, captain, flight leader, and training instructor of the Osean Air Defense Force's Wardog Squadron.
A veteran F-14 pilot of the Belkan War, Bartlett possessed a distrust of authority and an unwavering loyalty to his trainees, whom he affectionately referred to as "nuggets". In 2010, Bartlett played an important role in both the outbreak and resolution of the Circum-Pacific War between Osea and Yuktobania.
Features the F-14D that Bartlett flew during the Belkan War.
    VFA-206 (F-14B_96) :

VFA-206 was an Osean Maritime Defense Force fighter squadron and the carrier air wing of the 3rd Osean Naval Fleet's flagship, the OFS Kestrel.
After the fugitive Wardog pilots were brought aboard the Kestrel on December 7, Captain Marcus Snow, being the last member of VFA-206, joined them in the newly formed Razgriz Squadron. VFA-206 was likely disbanded after Snow's reassignment to Ragriz Squadron.
    Features Snow's F-14B
Razgriz Air Command Squadron (F-14D_96) :

The Razgriz Air Command Squadron, more commonly referred to as Razgriz Squadron and also known as "The Ghosts of Razgriz", was a secret squadron mostly comprised of the survivors of the OADF's Wardog Squadron in the final month of the Circum-Pacific War.
During its brief existence, Razgriz Squadron was created by and served under the direct command of Osean President Vincent Harling, and was stationed aboard the OFS Kestrel. Under their new mantel as the demonic hero of Strangereal folklore, the Razgriz pilots executed a series of covert engagements, which ultimately led to the war's resolution and the defeat of the Grey Men.
Features both a livery with Osean Markings, and one without Osean Markings.
    Pilots :
Each plane's number also corresponds to their respective pilot :

    "Blaze" (The Player) - (016)
    Kei "Edge" Nagase - (007)

    Alvin "Chopper" Davenport - (008)
    Hans "Archer" Grimm - (024)

    Marcus "Swordsman" Snow - (211)

    Jack "Heartbreak One" Bartlett (003)

  5. F-20B Tigershark, Quickie Skin/Decal Tweek Pak

F-20B Tigershark Quickie Skin & Decal UPgrade Pak for SF2
    =For SF2, Any and All (but Full-4 Merged Prefered/Reccomended*)

*Note: at minimum, you =MUST= have SF2:E, as the decals ini makes references/callout pointers to the stock F-15A serials. If you don't meet these minimium criteria, don't D/L this, as you wont be able to use it*

Just a quickie pak with slightly modified skin bmps and decal pointers to use stock in-game decals for Veltro2k's F-20B Tigershark.
You =MUST= have the F-20B to apply this pak to; it's just a skin, a few decals and a couple of inis for said skin and decals.

It's a rather generic skin, with tail code markings for the 56th FW, at Luke AFB, Arizona. The "LF" code is a new decal, as are the intake warnings. The rescue tags are borrowed from somewhere I can't remember (an F-104???).

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them!! The usual "Notes" section for other interestering details and stuff, explinations, and general musings and things.
To make it easier, I'd reccomend (highly!) you unzip this archive first, and read the install instructions BEFORE installing, as without following them, you'll have a conflict.

*note: this is the correct tail code; the one shown in the "What if..." screenshots thread was not*

    Happy Landings!

  8. F-15C Galm Team (Ace Combat Zero)

    Updated Version (09/09/17)

    What is it?
It's a paintscheme for the F-15C Eagle of the Ustio Air Force 6th Air Division, 66th Air Force Unit "Galm", from the game Ace Combat Zero. For F-15C (85).
The Galm Team are a Mercenary Unit hired by Ustio and attached to the 6th Air Division. In the opening days of the Belkan War, Ustio lost 70% of their Air Forces and needed to find replacements quickly. The use of "Unofficial Assets" AKA foreign mercanaries became valid and the Galm Team was hired. Since then, they've become one of the most famous units in the war and have become known by their Allies and their enemies. They are supported by AWACS Eagle Eye and are deployed from Valais Air Base.
During one encounter with the feared Schwarze Wing they were called "The Mercenary Dream Team". The name stuck with them.
The Galm Team had participated in every major battle that the Allied Forces had undertaken, during the Belkan War. Cipher and Pixy had gained much recognition from their Allies for their amazing feats of skill and from their enemies in many ways. Some of it respect, fear or hatred.
    Galm One
    Name: Unknown
    Callsign: Cipher
    Nationality:Ustio
Age: Late 20's to early 30's
    Sex: Male
    "The Demon Lord"
The leader of the 66th AFU of the Ustian 6th Air Division. A feared Ace, who trailed across the skies, bringing doom and destruction. One could say he is like the Razgriz, bringing death upon the land,( the first part of the war). Then he enters sleep, during the "6 Months Of Void"", then comes back as a hero defeating Pixy and his V2 from destroying the world. Little is known about him or where he went after the Belkan War. (player's character).
    Galm Two
    Name: Larry Foulke
    Callsign: Pixy
    Nationality: Belka
    Age: 28 (in 1995) 38 (in 2005)
    Sex: Male
    "A Brother in Arms".
Joined the Coup D'état forces and A World With No Boundaries after defecting from the Ustio Mercenary unit. It is rumored that he is currently a soldier in a volunteer army in a small country in Usea but, the info is still unconfirmed.

  12. YF-23A Wizard (Ace Combat Zero)

    What is it?
It's a paintscheme for the YF-23A Black Widow of the Osean Air Defence Force, 8th Air Division, 32nd Fighter Squadron, 1st Flight "Wizard", from the game Ace Combat Zero.
The 32nd FS consisting of both "Wizard" and "Sorcerer" flights, were a key frontline Osean Air Defense Force fighter squadron, which commonly fought over The Round Table, formally known as Area B7R.
The squadron had soon became known as the "All Stars of the Round Table" and as the war continued the entire Wizard flight became less and less supportive of the war as well as Osean high command. After the incident which occurred at the Waldreich Mountains on June 6, 1995 in which several nuclear bombs were detonated around the gate to Nord Belka, the Wizard Squadron deserted, disappearing without a trace
They joined the radical terrorist group known as A World With No Boundaries and the Wizard's flight leader is believed to be the founder alongside the alleged head director Anton Kupchenko and Anthony Palmer.
Wizard later reappeared over Air Space B7R to perform their final fight in the Round Table, during the allied "Operation Thunderbolt". They engaged the Ustian 66th Air Force Unit as they were en route to destroy the group main force at Avalon Dam. It is reported that the engagement was fierce, but resulted in the 32nd Squadron being entirely destroyed and disbanded.

I've also included a post-defection paint scheme as I found it weird that the defectors would still be using their own nation's symbols and flags when joining a terrorist organisation dedicated to tearing down borders.

  23. Two F-23A Skins

These are just two skins for the F-23A. One is a desert skin the other is sort of an artic skin. Figured the F-23A was in need of some variety of skins so I tweaked the ones that came with the original F-23A. Just drop the contents into the StrikeFighters2 folder where you've placed all of your downloaded content in. If you have other custom skins, then back-up your F-23A.ini file because it will get over-written.

  24. What If Blue Angels F/A-18E skin

Re-adapted for SF2 standards. Not much in the readme except copy and paste the Objects folder and everything will be good to go.

  25. Força Aérea Brasileira Skins for Fenrir

Here are two Força Aérea Brasileira skins for the superb Fenrir uploaded recently by cadeteBRA. The skins are those supplied with the original Fenrir aircraft folder with a tiny bit of overspray so all I've done is the decal work.

    Installation

    Drag and drop the skins folders called FAB_BLUE and FAB_GREY into your Fenrir aircraft folder and then drag and drop the Fenrir folder into your main Decals folder. For reference, mine looks like this;

    Credits

As always, big thanks to TK for the continuous improvement of a great little game/sim.

Extra special thanks to cadeteBRA for bringing this strikingly futuristic aircraft to 'Strike Fighters'.

And thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community.

    Regards
