SLUFs on Guard: A-7D in Air National Guard service 1974-1993
This mod adds several new skins to showcase the stock ThirdWire A-7D as it appeared in Air National Guard service. This mod includes two "new" A-7 variants based off the stock A-7D_78, mainly for ease of incorporating skins and saving 500MB of space!
The A-7D Corsair II (most commonly called the SLUF) first entered service in the Air Guard with the 188th Tactical Fighter Squadron, New Mexico ANG, in early 1974. The SLUF went on to serve with 16 different squadrons of the ANG, 15 of which are presented here (Arizona's 162nd TFS was the schoolhouse and flew predominantly A-7K two seaters). The A-7D finally bowed out of USAF service when the 162d Fighter Squadron, Ohio ANG, retired theirs in early 1993.
REQUIREMENTS
This mod requires you to have STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 EUROPE for the A-7D_75 and _78 it is based on. You could adapt rename the skins for use with the A-7D found in SF2 or SF2V,
but thats 5 files in 60 some skins.
INSTALLATION
UNZIP MAIN FOLDER, PUT OBJECTS FOLDER INTO DESIRED MOD FOLDER

59 Skins and tga sets covers the major schemes used by all covered units
historic serials well, fairly historic. this was a tough nut to crack and airframes are matched to units as best as possible.
nose arts for the gray 112th TFS (Ohio ANG) and all 149th TFS (Virginia ANG)
weapons regular bombs modded by me to boost base supply levels. other weapons that could be seen later in life added too including the LANA FLIR pod
ini edits mostly tweaking weapons loadouts. Air Guard SLUFs were more likely to carry basic bomb loads rather than the precision guided toys. and rarely had tanks

Stealth SLUFs : A-7D in service with the 4450th Tactical Group
This mod adds several new skins to showcase the stock ThirdWire A-7D as it appeared with the 4450th Tactical Group in the 1980s. The mod features their special version of the European 1 camo scheme as well as the SEA wraparound they appeared in for about the first year of operation.
The 4450th Tactical Group was the first unit to operate the then ultra secret F-117A Nighthawk. In order to maintain a cover other than "Stealth Fighter", the group also operated around a dozen A-7Ds to develop "avionics for the A-7D". They flew the Corsair II from mid 1981 until 1989, after the F-117A program became public a few mnths prior.

SLUFs of the Flying Tigers: A-7D in service with the 23rd Tactical Fighter Wing 1975-1981
This mod adds several new skins to showcase the stock ThirdWire A-7D as it appeared with the 23rd TFW in the late 1970s. The mod features the classic SEA camo scheme with white markings as well as the SEA wraparound scheme with black markings.
REQUIREMENTS
This mod requires you to have STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 EUROPE for the A-7D_75 and _78 it is based on.

LTV TA-7C Corsair II - The Mirage Factory

Two-seat trainer version for USN, 24 converted from A-7B, 36 from A-7C.
In 1984, 49 airframes, including the 8 EA-7Ls, were re-engined with the
TF41-A-402 and upgraded to A-7E standard.
USN: 60 aircrafts
HAF: 13 Ex USN delivered 1994
RTN: 4 Ex USN delivered 1995

- 33 Skins (30 USN, 2 HAF, 1 RTAF)

ANG SLUF Pack- featuring TMF A-7D and A-7K
This is an updated skinpack to reflect all USAF users of the SLUF after the bicentennial.
Every unit tactical unit is included, as well as the 4450th TG that was a cover for the
F-117A's at Tonopah. Most every scheme by every unit is in here; BUT for some units that had
different tail stripes for different flights rather than squadrons(i.e Puerto Rico), i picked one color and
went with that.
INSTALLATION
open the main folder, copy and paste into the mod folder of your choice and allow overwrites
INCLUDED
-4 diferent A-7D aircraft with one of the different paint schemes as a universal skin. changes
were limited to making 4 aircraft from 2, and adjusting the data.ini for the new droptanks
(A-7D_78TMF, A-7D80TMF, A-7D84TMF, A-7D_87TMF)
-1 A-7K with 4 different skins. droptanks for this are set for green as that is when the bulk
of these aircraft served was the SEA Wrap and Euro 1 era.
-3 sets of droptanks to work with the different A-7D models
- comprhensive decal set including 95 D model serials, 28 K model serials, and markings for
all units that flew in the paint schemes represented
- my expanded squadronlist.ini. helps to keep the tga's in order

Vought A-7P Corsair II DLC

Ex-US Navy A-7A rebuilt for Portugal, 44 refurbished with TF30-P-408 engines and an avionics fit similar to the A-7E.
A patchwork/decoupage of stock material: A-7B lod, A-7C Engine; A-7E Avionics & A-7D adapted skin.
Fitted with working wingfold (key 9) but denavalized.
This work is for my friend Daniel Cocas.

LTV A-7P Corsair II Ex-U.S. Navy A-7A rebuilt for Portugal, 44 refurbished with TF30-P-408 engines and an avionics fit similar to the A-7E.
LTV TA-7P Corsair II Two-seat trainer version for Portugal; 6 converted from ex-U.S. Navy A-7A.
WHAT'S IN:
- A-7P from DLC 25 with painted insignias and correct numbers limitation + my old mod skin upgraded as an early, just delivery plane;
3 new skins V. 1.1: Later Esq. 304 magnificos; Squadron Exchange Germany '91; Farewell Esq. 302/304 1999.
- TA-7P from TMF TA-7C remodded with two skins Wraparound and early (hypotetical) camo. It uses numbers provided with DLC 25.

- TA-7C from TMF TA-7C - 1 new bonus skin V. 1.1
1 plane (s/n 154404; c/n B-044) was temporarily provided by the United States Navy to Portugal in April 1982
This aircraft, a A-7B-1-CV Corsair II converted to TA-7C tandem twin-seat trainer, was nicknamed "White Dove"
(Portuguese: Pomba Branca) due to the original Upainting that was kept. It was returned to the USN in June 1985
