The P-47 Thunderbolt is among the greatest fighter-bombers ever built, and contributed immeasurably to the Allied victory in WWII. The N model was the final production model and served with Air National Guard units into the 1950s.

Upgraded re-modelled,remapped and updated P-47N-15...
The 1st version was one of my 1st 3ds max models and it now looks dated so heres a more or less complete overhaul..
Hopefully a pit will come when and if i master making them...

The P-51 Mustang is one of the great fighters of all time. It was the premier escort fighter of World War II, guarding bombers on missions deep into Germany and back, and was pressed into service again in Korea, this time in the ground attack role. This version of the P-51D for SFP1 includes a new flight model by Wolf-257.

NAA P-51A Mustang, 530FS, 311 FG, Skin and Ini Pak, For SF/WoV/WoE CBI installs
 
This package contains modifications and a reskin of Wolf's P-51A as used in the CBI Theatre. These are the early Allison-engined versions. This is a semi-complete aircraft mod, -specifically- designed for use in the CBI style install of the games, if you've created CBI only WW2 install that is . I've seen no other references to "A" model Mustangs being used anywhere else in the Pacific Theatre.
 
The skin represents aircraft from the 530th FS, 311 FG located in Burma, circa 1943.
I say 'semi-complete', as only the skin and decals, plus various inis are included in this mod. You =WILL= be transfering several critical files from your original P-51A to get this mod to work. (see "To Install" below) Consider this a "Theatre Specific" type of aircraft mod.
 
The various inis supplied in this kit, will give you the loadouts and other tweeks I've made that fit the time frame, and more importantly, the Theatre of Operations. "A" model Mustangs were slightly different in their usage and loads, then AAF ones used in the ETO/MTO - and different again from RAF ones. The P-51As as used in Burma at this time carried the 3-tube M-10 "Triple Bazooka" launcher, plus their usual compliment of bombs and machine guns. Nose guns are NOT used on this model.
 
I have included a bunch of small files, NEW Loading and Hangar screens, SHD (shadow), and other bits. But remember -- the main aircraft LOD file is NOT included, as per Wolf's wishes, nor is the cockpit folder. His original "P-51A_readme.txt" is included as well.
 
-= NOTE: you must have the Bunyap Weapons Pak of 6/06 to get the WW2 weapons and guns and such =-
=NOTE: you MUST have Wolf257s WW2 Planes Pak for the Original P-51A Lod and Cockpit folder (DUH!)=
- This mod has been tested in SF, WoV and WoE. This mod is NOT reccomended for use in a WW2 PTO style install of WoI, as it handles prop flight models in "a most unusual, and odd way"-

Mod to Pasko's ShootingStar for your SF/WoV WW2 Euro installs. Contains skins for 2 squadrons, 336th and 487th; files will need transfering from your original F-80 Korea install -- full instructions in the read me!! SO READ IT!!
Surprise nose art, too!

Mod of Pasko's original F-82 Twin Mustang for use in WW2 1946 (also known as SWOTL 2). For SF, WoV and WoE WW2 Europe installs.
 
This is NOT the full aircraft, so you'll need to transfer files over from your original F-82 install. See the readme in the zip for full instructions and a list of needed 'parts'. Also in the readme are instructions on modifying the F82_radarpod to ensure it loads properly via use of the weapons editor.
 
Includes a skin, serial numbers and nose art for the 363rd Fighter Squadron. The nose art is as historically accurate as I can make it.

P-82B 'Twin Mustang'


 

What If... mod for WW2 PTO SF/SFG/WoV/WoE -06 Patch Levels ONLY!!!


 
This is a modification of Pasko's F-82G into something for the "What If..." worlds of World War II: 1946, in the Pacific Theatre of Operations. This mod will recreate the P-82B "Twin Mustang" Long Range Day Fighter version, had it gone into full procduction for use against the Japanese Home Islands.
 
This is a COMPLETE addon aircraft, with all necessary parts included. A new skin, based off the original templates, represents aircraft from the 46th Fighter Squadron, 21st Fighter Group, based at Ie Shima, Okinawa in 1945 till wars end. Colors and markings are historically correct for the 46ths P-51D/H Mustangs, just adapted for TwinMust useage, and the serial numbers are also correct for P-82B as they were assigned to the 380 aircraft that were cancelled at the (historic) war's end. Twenty actually entered service, but that's a tale for another day.
 
As can be expected, some small changes have been made; mostly to create a 'day-only' version. The avionics.ini has been edited to remove the search/track radar, while leaving the audio-only RWR intact. All lighting has been updated, with the addition of a landing light (albeit on the wrong strut...), and the 3 underwing formation/identification lights seen on all Mustang variants. The FM remains essentially intact as issued, although some tweeking is requied, as the aircraft seems about 50-75 knots slower than it's Real Life ™ counterpart. Other than that, it handles quite well!!
 
= IMPORTANT: This aircraft has been tested ONLY in 2006 Patch Levels SF/WoV/WoE. Be advised of the existence of some handling issues prevelant in WW2 era and many Pre-Patch (ie: 06 level and eariler) aircraft being used in the post 08 patch enviroments. It is NOT reccomended for use in WoI or SF/SFG/WoV/WoE in these post 08 patch game installs. It is also NOT reccomended for use in the SF2 NextGen series. If you insist on doing so, you do so at your own risk. No support is available from me for any issues you may experience. You have been warned/advised...
 
=IMPORTANT x2: You WILL need the WW2 Weapons Pak (or equlivant BunyPak of 06) to get the WW2 weapons, bombs and such. The P/F-82 rocket racks and drop tanks already exist in that pack, but have been included here as a "just in case" for those needing them for some other pack.

I believe I have one of Wrench's skins in my folder also, the midwar Green and Grey scheme. As per my last upload, if anyone who actually worked on this wants it taken down, I'll pull it. Posting it simply as a favor to friends. It's just a .rar of the Mossie folder in my WW2 setup.
