Mod of Wolf's P-51A into the earlier RAF only version.
This is a semi-complete aircraft mod, creating a country-specific version for use in you World War 2: ETO installs ONLY!!
It represents aircraft from 26 Squadron during late 1941/early 42 .

*** IMPORTANT -- This mod does =NOT= include the aircraft's LOD file (the actual physical model). You must transfer the P-51A.LOD from your, obviously, P-51A ***

All the inis, tgas (including my new damage tgas), bmps, decals, etc are included making this almost a full aircraft add on.

PLEASE read the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions on what needs doing -- they're quite explicit and in-depth. There are also side notes and comments.

With thanks to Wolf for originally creating the Mustangs (in all their variations).

      Enjoy!

    4. Focke Wulf Projekt II

This was the second design from Kurt Tank of the Focke-Wulf company for a single-jet engine, single-seat fighter, submitted June 9, 1943. The wing was mounted mid-fuselage and had a slight sweep on the leading edge and straight trailing edges. A turbojet was slung beneath the fuselage because of fears of operational problems associated with mounting the jet engine on top of the fuselage. The main advantage was to facilitate maintenance, but there were several bigger disadvantages to this design, such as the nose wheel blocking the intake on takeoff and landing, foreign matter being sucked into the intake since it was so close to the ground and the destruction of the jet engine in case of a belly landing. I have created three skins for the aircraft - JGI, JGII and JG26.

Airplane Model by Timmy with generous help from Capun. FM horribly done by Timmy - based on Geo's He-162 with bits and pieces taken from Wolf257's FW-190. Thank you Gentlemen.

    6. RAF Mustang III (MH) skin & ini mods

This is a modifcation of Wolf257's P-51C Mustang into the Mk.III version, as used the RAF in the ETO This is the model with the "Malcom Hood".

This is a semi complete aircraft mod, creating a country specific version for use in your World War 2: ETO installs ONLY!!

It represents aircraft from 315 Polish Squadron "City of Deblin" of circa 1944/45 (pre-invasion striped, or post invasion striped).

IMPORTANT -- This mod does =NOT= include the aircraft's LOD file (the actual physical model) or the cockpit folder!!

New, modified inis, decal tgas (including my new damage tga), skin bmps, etc are included making this almost a full aircraft add on. The cockpit folder itself is NOT included, but a modified cockpit ini (for the new gunsight tga) is. You will need to have the WW2 Plane Pak to make use of existing files that are needed for this aircraft's installation.
Included, for your enjoyment, are brand new, never before released RAF Mustang III hangar and loading screens - only available in this mod!!

Please see the 'readme' enclosed for full, detailed instructions!

I'd like to thank him personally, for making his wonderful WW2 aircraft available, for letting us mod them to our hearts content.

    7. A6M2 Sen Baku

A6M2 Sen Baku in the Battle of the Philippine Sea

      Ryan Toews from j-aircraft.com

The fighter-bomber version of the A6M2 is probably the least documented Zero variant. This article is an attempt to shed some light on some of the distinguishing details of this plane.

First, allow me to offer a few a words on the proper nomenclature. Most published sources call this Zero a “Bakusen”. However, in the last year Manabu Kawasaki wrote a new study entitled A New View of the Battle of Philippine Sea. This book points out that the official records term the Zero fighter-bomber the Sen Baku; this is also supported by the memories of a number of pilots. My thanks to Kenji Miyazaki for drawing this to my attention.

The A6M2 Sen Baku was introduced in early 1944. The D3A Val carrier-borne dive-bomber was recognized as becoming increasingly inadequate for front line use and the replacement IJN dive-bomber, the D4Y Judy, needed a longer take-off roll than could be accommodated on the light carriers comprising part of the First Mobile Fleet. Accordingly, a number of A6M2s were modified to carry a 250 kg bomb by replacing the drop tank so as to fit a centre-line bomb rack. These modified Zeros lacked dive brakes and bomb-throwing racks and so were restricted to less effective shallower bomb approaches, but it was thought that the flight decks of the American carriers could be damaged enough to render them incapable of aerial operations.

Concurrent with the introduction of the A6M2 Sen Baku was the rebuilding of the Japanese carrier force. Training for both the 601 Kokutai only began in February of 1944 and 652 Ku and 653 Ku began training a month later. Very likely then the Zero Sen Baku only began arriving from the factory sometime in the period from February to April.

Mitsubishi had stopped producing the A6M2 in mid-1942, so it can be safely assumed that all of the A6M2 Sen Bakus were built by Nakajima. Gakken 33 gives Nakajima’s monthly production numbers for both the A6M2 and the A6M5. Production of the latter was well underway in March 1944 and it was in full production by April. Yet production of the A6M2 only shut down gradually, with 111 aircraft still being built in April and May 1944. It may very well be that this drawn out production of the A6M2 during the time the A6M5 was being turned out in strength was due to the need for additional Sen Baku variants of the Zero. As will be explained below, the Zero fighter-bombers were not a simple conversion and were much more likely to have been given their necessary modifications on the assembly line.

The A6M2 Sen Baku also appears to have been the first Zero to make use of two wing drop-tanks. On page 82 of Aero Detail 7 is a small notation which states that a number of A6M5bs were modified to carry both a centre-line bomb load as well as wing tanks. This was done to maintain the same range performance as regularly equipped Zeros. A photo on pages 20-21 of the recently published Japanese Naval Air Force in Action shows several carrier-borne A6M2s equipped with wing mounted drop-tanks. (Image 1) The tail codes visible on several other aircraft in the foreground help identify the image as having been taken some time before the Battle of the Philippine Sea. Using the evidence from this photo, it can be argued that the bomb carrying A6M2s used during the Battle of the Philippine Sea were also equipped with wing drop-tanks. Further substantiation for this can be found in looking at the battle itself. The Japanese strategy was to use the advantage of their planes’ longer range to be able to attack before the Americans were within range themselves. And to maintain this longer range the A6M2 had to be able to use the additional fuel available in external drop-tanks.

      A6M2 Sen Baku Markings

Information on markings for the Battle of the Philippine Sea Sen Bakus is likewise very sparse, being limited to only one such aircraft. The picture below is form the USMC collection at NARA. It is identified as being taken on Guam in July of 1944. According to Jim Lansdale a second photo in the same series appears to show the same plane in the background of the image with the code of “323“ visible on the tail (Image 12)

It is assumed here that the “2” in the “247” part of the tail code identified the role of plane “47” as a bomber instead of a fighter, continuing a practice used previously by IJN carrier units. The tail code prefix of “323” serves to further identify the plane as belonging to the 3rd Carrier (Ryuho) of the 2nd Carrier Division. All of the aircraft of the 2nd Carrier Division were administratively assigned to the 652 Kokutai.

According to Hata and Izawa as well as Tillman the 652 Ku launched either 25 or 26 of its full complement of 26 A6M2 fighter-bombers as part of the second Japanese air strike on the 19th of July. This force came in from the north and had minimal contact with American forces. In spite of this, 4 A6M2 fighter-bombers were lost. It seems safe to assume that any of these 4 planes might have crashed on Guam.

From all of the above it may be possible to reconstruct the appearance of at least one of the rather elusive A6M2 Sen Baku that took such heavy losses in the Battle of the Philippine Sea. Bearing the tail code of “323-247” it was equipped with two wing mounted drop tanks as well as a flush-mounted bomb rack to carry a 250 Kg bomb.

Over the past months Dave Douglas has been allowing me to berate him with endless suggestions concerning his outstanding series of Zero profiles. He has been kind enough to take my contradictory notes and comments and create a profile of the Sen Baku which has been described above. (Image 13) Dave has also provided a drawing of the bomb rack used on the A6M2 Sen Baku. This illustration also provides a better look at the Type 99 #25 Model 1 Ordinary bomb and its markings. The bomb’s markings are of the earlier war pattern which were continued up to July 1944. (Image 14)

A6M2 Sen Baku Package: for SF/WoV/WoE WW2, PTO installs

This little modification creates a new aircraft based off ArmorDave's A6M5 "Zeke" IJN fighter and Wrench work. Included in this package are the skins, inis, and some various small and sundry bits. The aircraft LOD and cockpit folders are NOT included - you 'll be transfering them over from the stock A6M5. Therefore, it is NOT a complete aircraft package.

= You MUST have the latest Weapons Pak installed for the WW2 Weapons!!! =

Obviously, you must have AD's Zero's installed to use the package....

      ---------------------
      Install instructions:

Unzip, as I always reccomend, the "A6M2 Sen Baku.zip" to a temp folder somewhere that easy to find.

Create a new folder, "A6M2 Sen Baku" in your game's main /Aircraft folder.

Copy/paste all the new items; inis, skin folder, and the various and sundry bits I've supplied, into the new A6M5C folder.

From the original A6M5, transfer over (copy/paste) the following items:

      A6M5.LOD
      A6M5.OUT (usefull for decaling)

Cockpit folder -- the whole, entire folder :)

Copy/paste the "LavEngine.wav" into your sounds folder, if you don't have it already. This is from Hinchbooke, and was (duh!) designed for the Soviet Laggs and the LA-9 and 11. It has a nice raspy radial sound.

Hangar and Loading screens are included. They're my old one's for a way's back.

      That's pretty much it...go fly!

    8. F6F-5 Hellcat

      F6F-5 Hellcat mod for SF/WoV/WoE - WW2 PTO Installs

This is a modifcation of Razor/Geo's F6F-3 'Hellcat' into the -5 used by the US Navy and Marine Corps in the Pacific during 1943-45. I call this a 'representative' -5, as it is based on the -3, and still has the rear cockpit windows, which would not be present on the later -5 'represented' here.

This is a semi-complete aircraft mod, including all the necessary parts, =excepting= the aircraft LOD, to recreate the standard -5 day fighter-bomber . You =WILL= have to copy the "F6F.LOD" from your original Hellcat's folder to this one. It's highly reccomened you have the original, plus any weapons it adds, in you PTO install.

The cockpit is also NOT included, but a new gunsight and cockpit ini is, so you'll need to copy over the -3's cockpit as well. See 'Installation" below...

The skin is brand new, from a template created by me, based off the original tri-color that came with the -3 Hellcat. It represents's Hellcats from VF-3 aboard USS YORKTOWN circa early 1945. Weapons stations have been added for the wing-mounted HVARs, as well as the usual bombs and drop tank original built into the -3. My Hellcat Hangar and Loading screens have been included.

It is also NOT designed to be used in a WW2 style install of WoI, as WoI handles propeller aircraft -completely- differently, and they do NOT fly properly. You've been warned....

I've included Geo' original readme, please give it a look over. Remember: you MUST have the original F6F-3 Hellcat available at his site:

    9. F6F-5N Hellcat Nightfigher

F6F-5N Hellcat Nightfighter mod for SF/WoV/WoE - WW2 PTO Installs

This is a modifcation of Razor/Geo's F6F-3 'Hellcat' into the -5N nighter version used by the US Navy and Marine Corps in the Pacific during 1943-45. I call this a 'representative' -5N, as it is based on the -3, and still has the rear cockpit windows, which would not be present on the later -5N 'represented' here.

This is a semi-complete aircraft mod, including all the necessary parts, =excepting= the aircraft LOD, to recreate the -5N Nightfighters. You =WILL= have to copy the "F6F.LOD" from your original Hellcat's folder to this one. It's highly reccomened you have the original, plus any weapons it adds, in you PTO install.

Included is the full cockpit, modified by Lexx_Luthor, from the F-86D for use in this aircraft, a skin representing VMFN-542 - complete with accurate Modex numbers and nose art (BuNums not included), all inis, damage tgas, and a NEW -only available in this mod- Hellcat Nightfighter Hangar & Loading Screens. The skin is brand new, from a template created by me, based off the original tri-color that came with the -3 Hellcat. Weapons stations have been added for the wing-mounted HVARs, as well as the usual bombs and drop tank.

You're also be using the weapons editor to add the new wing-mounted radar pod, modified from something I don't remember at this point in time. This is designed ONLY for use with the Bunyap Weapons Pak, and NOT the TMF pak, as their's does not contain the WW2 weapons. It is also NOT designed to be used in a WW2 style install of WoI, as WoI handles propeller aircraft -completly- differently, and they don't fly properly. You've been warned....

I've included Geo' original readme, please give it a look over.

    10. FAA Corsair Mk.2 (ETO)

*Note: this packing includes the latest skin. I'd originally planned this only as an update, but it appears I never uploaded this aircraft package here at CA...so, you've got it all now!*

Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Vought Corsair Mk.II mod for SF/WoV/WoE

*Note: this re-pack includes the new skin and fixed decal*

This is a modifcation of Wolf257's F4U Corsair into the Mark II version used by the British Royal Navy in the Atlantic. (minus the clipped wing tips - as that isn't modeled)

This is a semi complete aircraft mod, creating a country specific version for use in your World War 2: ETO installs ONLY!! As such, all the loadouts have been adjusted to fit Royal Navy aircraft of the time (or as best guess as my research has shown). This aircraft does NOT carry rockets. It does, however, have the inner under wing and centerline stations split into 3 groups, allowing for asymetrical loadout (as seen in several pictures I have)

!Semi-complete means the aircraft lod is NOT included - you'll have to transfer it over from one of your other Corsairs!

It represents aircraft from FAA 1842 Squadron embarked on HMS FORMIDABLE during the time frame of the attacks against the TIRPITZ.

You'll also find a new ETO Corsair hangar screen, I created just for this mod, and ONLY available with it.

==NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE THE LATEST WEAPONS PAK INSTALLED FOR PROPER WEAPONS LOADOUT!!==

Please read the enclosed readmes (there's 2 - for for install, and one explained the new 'updated' skin) for complete install instructions.

    11. Hawk 75 ML-KNIL (NEI)

      Hawk 75A-C7, ML-KNIL for SF/WoV/WoE, WW2 PTO installs , Version 2.0 Original Releae Date: 9/24/07

** UPDATED 1/11/08: this new update corrects the markings on the upper wings (removing them), and fixes some other small issues. This package is designed to totally REPLACE the original from 2007**

This is a modification of Wolf257's P-36/Mohawk into the Hawk 75 export version, as used by several Allied nations.

It represents aircraft from the ML-KNIL during the opening days of the War in the Pacific, in the defense of the Netherlands East Indies (Java and Sumatra, for those that don't know)

This creates a country specific version for use in your World War 2: PTO installs ONLY!! As such, all the loadout have been adjusted to fit KLU aircraft of the time (ie: by being lazy and using the exisiting RAF bombs <wink>).

Everything is included; all the inis, cockpit files, new hangar and loading screens (both available ONLY in this mod) and my damage tgas as well. The LOD file is the newer one, as used on the French Hawk 75 and the recenty released USAAC P-36A Update Pak.

I've also adjusted the operational years; they historically were all destroyed by February, 1942, but as we can't add months yet, you get the whole year (1942 that is).

For this update, I left the hangar screen alone, even though it has the improper upper wing marking still present. Looks a bit nicer; rest assured, the actual in-game version IS correct!

= IMPORTANT: This aircraft is designed for use in SF/WoV/WoE -ONLY-, It has =NOT= been tested it in post 8/28/08 patch WoI, nor post 9/08 - 10/08 patch SF/WoV/WoE. You use it in these enviroments at YOUR own risk. =

=This mod is designed for use with the Bunyap Weapons Pak of 6/06, as it contains all the needed weapons . If attempting to use this aircraft with any other weapons pak, you'll need to add ALL the WW2 era bombs, torpedoes, etc. They are NOT included in this package.=

Please read the enclosed readme, it has full install instructions, and other notes of interest.

      Happy Landings!

      Douglas DB-7A AdA

      Decals and Decal Update

Whilst doing some research for another project, I stumbled across a long out of print copy of "Profile # 202: Douglas A-20 (7A-Boston III)" on pdf, and it had some really nice profiles and photos of French DB-7s from the Battle of France time period. Including placement of individual aircraft numbers.

I know the font isn't exactly the right one, but it's damn close! To make thinks easier, I've left all the rudder tags in, as I'm too lazy to remove them, and the file size (zipped) is still below 500k.

Easy to follow instructions in the Enclosed "youread"

Sorry about that folks, but this is an easy fix!

This is a semi-complete package conatining all necessary parts to create the new aircraft =EXCEPT= the FW190.LOD. It's Wolf's wish that the lod not be distributed in new packages, but it's a simple matter to just copy it over from another Wurger.
All other parts; cockpit, all the inis, updated gunsight tga are included. I call it semi-complete package for the above reason, but NEW data, loadout, cockpit and main inis are included, due to several modifications I've effected. There are even new hangar and loading screens, specifically designed for this ground-attack version.

There are 2 skins in this package (hence the ETO/MTO tag at the top!):

      9/SG4 based in France & Germany in the post D-Day time frame (attached to KG51);
I-SG4 based on Sardinia for use in the MTO/Italian theatre.

It is suggested that you do NOT mix these skins in the same theatre of operations, but rather 'split' the install between your ETO and MTO game setups.

---- Please note you MUST have the latest Weapons Pack for the WW2 Axis weapons ----

PLEASE read the enclosed readme for detailed install instructions, and other important notes. I wrote it...you better read it!!
Most importantly, information about the modified loadouts (see picture above for some idea of what you can get!)

    14. Bf-109G6 Mod Pak

Messerschmitt Bf-109G6 skin & ini tweeks for SF, WoV & WoE WW2 Installs:

-Modification of one of Wolf257's Messerschmitts....
This is a semi-complete package, creating another version of the famed Messerschmitt Bf-109. It contains just about everything needed.
I say semi-complete, because the aircraft LOD file is NOT included, as per his wishes, but everthing else is. You will also be adding 2 stand-in under-wing gun gondolas for the MK108 30mm and MK151 20mm cannons. I say stand-in, as the pod used is NOT the correct shape. So, you WILL be using the Weapons Editor to add the new gun pods. They use existing weapons, so there's no problems there. These are just here until a 3d modeler steps up and gives us the correct shapes for the 2 different pods.

The skin included represents JG53 in late 44/early 45, and has been enhanced with new panel, rivet lines, and new stenciling for the warning and info tags. My damged tgs and NEW 109G6 hangar and loadoing screens -ONLY available in this mod- are also included.

PLEASE read the enclosed reamde file for full detailed install instructions, as well as other notes and commentaries.

    15. FW-109A8/R8 Sturmbok

Focke Wulf Fw-190A8 Package for SF, WoV & WoE WW2 ETO/SWOTL Installs:

This is a re-skin and ini mods of the original 190 into a FW-190A8/R8 'Sturmbok' bomber killer.

This is a semi-complete package conatining all necessary parts to create the new aircrafte =EXCEPT= the FW190.LOD. It's Wolf's wishes the lod not be distributed in new packages, but it's a simple matter to just copy it over from another Wurger.
All other parts; cockpit, all the inis, updated gunsight tga are included. I've also added my 2 newest hangar and loading screens (also available in the FW-190A5 update pak)

This skin represents Fw-190A8R8 from 11/JG3 in the late 44/45 time frame in Western Europe/Germany.

I have tried to make it as accurate as possible, even to getting the proper RLM colors added to my swatch list. As best I could, I even added the little warning placards around the fuselage, wings and tail. Along with the 'eagle head' shape over the fuselage, now outlined in red for JG3.

PLEASE read the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions and other stuff.

Messerschmitt Bf-109K4 Package for SF, WoV & WoE WW2 ETO Installs: 10/11/07

This is a re-build of Wolf's original 109G10 into the Bf-109K4. This is a semi-complete package that includes all the necessary inis, tga, skin bmps, cockpit and cockpit mods --EXCEPTING-- the aircraft LOD file. You'll be copying the LOD from the 109G10 for use in this mod.

The skin represents JG77 in the late war time frame. It was created by my enhanced template, with redrawn panel and rivets, and the stencling for the warning/service tags.
This package also includes a NEW 109K hangar screen, ONLY available in this mod.

PLEASE read the enclosed readme for detailed install instructions, plus my notes and comments. Important stuff, folks!

    19. A6M5 Type 52C Zero Pak

A6M5 Type 52C Zero Package: for SF/WoV/WoE WW2, PTO installs

This little modification creates a new aircraft based off ArmorDave's A6M5 "Zeke" IJN fighter. Included in this package are the skins, inis, and some various small and sundry bits. The aircraft LOD and cockpit folders are NOT included - you 'll be transfering them over from the stock A6M5. Therefore, it is NOT a complete aircraft package.

Ini mods include changing out the weapons for 12.7mm machine guns, 2 in the wings and one in the upper engine cowling deck, along with the standard 20mm cannons in the wings. No other changes to the flight model has been effected.

The skin, from a new template created by me from the original Volks & Lansen skins (and using parts thereof), represents 332 Kokutai, based at Kure, Japan approx. September, 1944.

I've also given you some other gunsight tgas, so you can choose between them.

= You MUST have the latest Weapons Pak installed for the WW2 Weapons!!! =

Obviously, you must have AD's Zero's installed to use the package....

The skin, from a new template created by me from the original Volks & Lansen skins (and using parts thereof), represents 210 Kokutai, based in Japan, sometime in 1945. You'll have serial numbers for 18 aircraft, and one 'end of the line' filler.

I've also given you some other gunsight tgas, so you can choose between them.

You will also be using the Weapons Editor to add 2 new IJNAF rockets, based on existing one. No lods are included, or needed, as such.

I had originally started this, but got an 85% complete mod from christian59 (who's real name I don't know), so he gets a substantial portion of the credit for this mod ... I just cleaned up the inis a little, and did the skin and decals.
His work also includes a new, more faded bmp for the 52 gallon drop tank, and the aforementioned rockets.

Curtis-Wright Hawk 75A, Vichy French Armee De L'Air Package
      for SF/WoV/WoE WW2 MTO Installs:

This is a complete package including ALL parts necessary to unzip and install a new, export version of Wolf's P-36 Mohawk, as used by the Vichy French Air Force, after the Fall of France.

A single skin with generic markings is included. Tail and Number decals are by Heck Mitchell, and borrowed from the AdA version. It 'represents' GCII/5, but should not be considered 100% historically accurate. The "Indian Head" squadon insignia decal is by me.

A new Vichy Hawk 75 hangar screen is included, as are damage tgas.

There is a new French 7.5mm machine gun, courtesy of Heck, and a 50kg bomb by me, so you'll be using BOTH the gun and weapons editor to add them. (note: both these weapons were included in the AdA Douglas DB-7 previously released).

    22. Republic P-84 Thunderjet (WW2 What If...)

Republic P-84 Thunderjet "What If..." WW2 version -For SF/WoV/WoE and probably WoI (maybe?)

This little mod is a tweek to RussoUK's F-84E, with a new lod with the bubble-top non-reinforced canopy. It "represents" P-84 Thunderjet aircraft from the 61st FS of the 56th FG in the "What If..." world of WW2: 1946 aka SWOTL2.

Russo made the new lod for me several years ago, and this has been languishing on my HD for some time; I figured NOW would be a good time to finish it off and release to all you good folks!

The new skin, with redrawn panel lines (but no rivets - this was done before I learned how, and wasn't going back to add them!), has the marking of the 61st FS, still carrying their standard WW2 ETO markings as of 1947. Included are several historic nose arts as seen on their Thunderbolts. I've tried to match aircraft call letter with the approiate art work. Serial numbers are accurate, had the A model gone into full production.

A new WoE-style Hangar screen is also included.

The auto-speed canopy has been disabled, as this no longer works in WoI (and by inference, when the SF/WoV/WoE patch arrives), but I somehow managed to fool the game engine by assigning to the arrestor hook; so, the canopy will open when you hit the "H" key.

It should be noted this is 1of 2 Thunderjet mods I'm releasing; this one, a "What If..." for WW2: 1946, and a Real Life ™, Historic version, which is simply called "F-84". It represents the B/C model, and is available seperatly, as they are designed to be exclusive to their eras.

    23. P-51A Mustang, 530th FS, CBI - Skin & Ini Pak

NAA P-51A Mustang, 530FS, 311 FG, Skin and Ini Pak, For SF/WoV/WoE CBI installs

This package contains modifications and a reskin of Wolf's P-51A as used in the CBI Theatre. These are the early Allison-engined versions. This is a semi-complete aircraft mod, -specifically- designed for use in the CBI style install of the games, if you've created CBI only WW2 install that is . I've seen no other references to "A" model Mustangs being used anywhere else in the Pacific Theatre.

The skin represents aircraft from the 530th FS, 311 FG located in Burma, circa 1943.
I say 'semi-complete', as only the skin and decals, plus various inis are included in this mod. You =WILL= be transfering several critical files from your original P-51A to get this mod to work. (see "To Install" below) Consider this a "Theatre Specific" type of aircraft mod.

The various inis supplied in this kit, will give you the loadouts and other tweeks I've made that fit the time frame, and more importantly, the Theatre of Operations. "A" model Mustangs were slightly different in their usage and loads, then AAF ones used in the ETO/MTO - and different again from RAF ones. The P-51As as used in Burma at this time carried the 3-tube M-10 "Triple Bazooka" launcher, plus their usual compliment of bombs and machine guns. Nose guns are NOT used on this model.

I have included a bunch of small files, NEW Loading and Hangar screens, SHD (shadow), and other bits. But remember -- the main aircraft LOD file is NOT included, as per Wolf's wishes, nor is the cockpit folder. His original "P-51A_readme.txt" is included as well.

-= NOTE: you must have the Bunyap Weapons Pak of 6/06 to get the WW2 weapons and guns and such =-
=NOTE: you MUST have Wolf257s WW2 Planes Pak for the Original P-51A Lod and Cockpit folder (DUH!)=
      - This mod has been tested in SF, WoV and WoE. This mod is NOT reccomended for use in a WW2 PTO style install of WoI, as it handles prop flight models in "a most unusual, and odd way"-

PLEASE read the enclosed readme for detailed, easy to follow install instructions.

    24. Ki-57 "Topsy" Skin and Ini Pak

      Ki-57 "Topsy" skin - for SF/WoV/WoE WW2 PTO instals

This is just a simple reskin of Wolf257's Ki-57 IJAAF transport plane to give it a slightly better looking paint job. Nothing really special, just added on the 'side windows' (ie: painted them on). The skin is based off my Ki-21 'Sally' upgrade for some time ago. It's a very basic, rather generic IJAAF green, with no important markings. Simply because I couldn't find any in my source books!

As this aircraft IS desinged for AI use only, I haven't included any of the really neat little bits for adding a cockpit. You can use the instructions in either of the Sally upgrade pak. It might actually be kind of fun, to just take off and fly around the map (avoiding enemy fighters, of course, as you ain't got no guns!!). The cockpit ini, just for giggles, IS included. You'll need to have the cockpit from Pasko's Mosquito B.IV. The readouts have been converted to use metric data, as has the data ini.
The included slightly tweeked data ini, adds Japanese pilots and seats for them to rest on. A damage tga is also included, so you can have the shot up look.

I didn't bother to create a hangar screen. It's a transport, and nice for eye candy.

See the enclosed readme for more, detailed install instructions

    25. P-400 Airacobra, Skin & Ini Upgrade Pak

Bell P-400 "Airacobra", 39th FS Skin and Ini Pak, For SF/WoV/WoE PTO installs

This is a semi-complete mod, re-creating the P-400, export version of the Bell P-39 "Airacobra". The skin represents aircraft from the 39th FS, 35th FG as seen around Port Morseby, PNG during mid-1942

It is also to be considered a FULL replacement, minus certain files, for the P-400 mod that's been on my site for several years. This version gets a fully upgraded skin, with newly redrawn panel and rivet lines, and a replacement cockpit, based on the Dev A-Team's Hurricane.

When I say "semi-complete", this means the aircraft LOD file is NOT included, NOR are the cockpit files from the Hurricane 1. You WILL be transfering these from their respective aircraft. Needless to say, you MUST have Wolf's WW2 Planes Pak for the LOD, and the DATs Hurri. Full instructions, and a parts list, are below in the "Install Instructions".

I've supplied all the inis, misc bmps and tgas and various and sundry bits to make the process as easy as possible.

The skin, as said above, is for the 39th FS, and has completely new redrawn panel and rivet lines. Aircraft ID numbers are as accurate as possible, based on research. Serial numbers are NOT used, as these were painted out in-theatre. In reality, although not painted on the aircraft, these birds were assigned RAF serials, as they were originally intented for the UK.

A revamped, cleaned up version of my original P-39 Hangar Screen is included, as is the damage tga.

-= NOTE: you must have the Bunyap Weapons Pak of 6/06 to get the WW2 weapons and guns and such =-
