  5. Mi-24 Soviet Frontal Aviation, 1985

Strike Fighters/Wings Over Vietnam/Wings Over Europe etc Mi-24 skins readme

All credit for these skins goes to their creators as detailed below. All I've done is to re-format them for SF\WOV\WOE and add a textureSet to each skin.

Not all of the countries for which we have skins are included in the standard NATIONS.ini list, so I've left those as Soviet. It doesn't make any difference to the skins' appearance as there are no decals to worry about. If you have the New Nations mod that includes these missing countries then feel free to modify the relevant TextureSet.

All you need to do is to extract the skin to your Objects\Aircraft\Mi-24 folder, then go fly and blow up some stuff.

Thanks must go to the A Team for making the Mi-24 for SF\WOV\WOE, Tim Conrad for the original Mi-24V, and of course TK for giving us these great sims to play with.

This skin is based on Mike Pearson's textures and converted with his kind permission.

    Enjoy, and good hunting

    Allen

ps You can use these skins in any mods, campaigns etc, but please name check me and the original skinners in your credits as a courtesy. Thanks

  16. Victor K2 RAF 57 Sqn Camo Skin

Hi folks, this mod adds a new RAF 57 Squadron Camo skin to the excellent Victor K2 tanker, produced by the A-team.

Many thanks and credit to the A-team for producing the K2 and also for granting me permission to post this mod. If there are any problems with this mod then please contact me directly, not the A-team. Thanks.

The 57 Sqn K2 camo skin is derived from the original Victor B2's camo skin, with additions to make it usable with the K2s HDU and refueling drogues. I've also included the 57 Sqn crest, and tail crest.

Installation instructions are included in the enclosed readme file.

Cheers, kind regards, P.T (comrpnt). :-)

  21. RAAF C-47 Dakota Post War (DAT)

Here is a texture for the A-Team's C-47B Dakota, a post war RAAF scheme of 38 Squadron, circa 1970. The RAAF (as indeed many air forces) used the C-47 series well into the latter part of the 20th Century.

Just copy and paste the 38PW folder to your C-47B folder and fly!

Thanks to the other A-Team members of Capun, Charles, Kesselbrut & The Wrench for the C-47 Dakota.

    Cheers Guys!

And thanks once again to CombatAce for hosting!

  25. Sopwith Camel, 209 Sqn, RAF, April 1918 (2 versions)

Sopwith Camel, 209 Sqn, RAF, April 1918

209 Squadron were frequently engaged with the Richtofen Circus in early 1918, and it was in the course of an action with Camels of this squadron that the Red Baron met his death.

This is simply the original skin modified, but sources differ as to whether 209 carried fuselage roundels, so I have included both versions

Thanks to the SPF1 A-Team (Capun, Richard, Charles, Kesselbrut & The Wrench) for the original, and for permitting this upload.
