If you are having runtime issues with Phase 3 check the following:

1) That you have installed the 1.26 patch - available in the downloads section of our site:

http://www.overflandersfields.com/Downloads.htm

2) If you are still having funnies - check the current issues that we have detected and are working on:

see this Forum section:

http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showforum=208

If this covers your issue then please be patient we are working flat out on it!

3) If you are still having issues try reinstalling BH&H:

3.1) Go Start, Control Panel , Add Remove Programs and Remove P3 BH&H

3.2) Delete the CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields Folder ( i.e delete any remnants) and all sub folders.

3.3) Install BH&H

See FAQ here for full step by step (important)

http://www.overflandersfields.com/FAQ.htm#Installation_and_settings

4) If your Trackir has stopped working after install of OFF P3 - Grab the latest drivers from Naturalpoint.com and reinstall TrackIR software.

5) If you are running on a non English OS and have the "Homefield Error" then set your OS to run Unicode English:

Update to V1.26 and then check the FAQ for more info (search for home field error).

6) Try a Reset of CFS3 - Goto Workshops and press the 'CFS3 Reset' button - this is particularly applicable if you upgraded from P2 to P3. (This will lose all your created pilots!)

7) Finally Read the FAQ!

http://www.overflandersfields.com/FAQ.htm

Hello all

I've just bought WOFF and there's a couple things I need to ask about that I haven't seen in the FAQ.

1. Is there any way to change the FOV in the game? Perhaps I've been spoiled by ROF but I find it to be much too narrow for me.

2. Is there any alternative to the snap view camera, such as mouse look or arrow keys look?

3. Is there any way to set a "default" view. What I mean is if I move the cockpit camera back is there a key or something I could do to keep it there whenever I look back?

Thanks in advance!

I say "software" because I'm still using my original TIR3 Pro camera and Vector clip. It's worked fine so far, but I'm having a problem now that I've had to switch to the TIR5 drivers for WOFF.

The issue is:

Previous drivers would always keep my ingame head's attitude as the reference for any subsequent movements whereas the TIR5 software seems to use the aircraft as its reference regardless where I'm looking. So if I'm looking to my left and want to look over the side of the aircraft I used to lean foward (as I would if I were looking out the window of my car). But now that simply moves my view toward the nose of the aircraft. To lean my view over the side I have to move my head to the left, which would be like leaning back into the seat in real life. Likewise, when looking to the right rear the software used to compensate for that and reverse the direction of any lean. That is, if I then wanted to lean to the aircraft's right I would lean my head to its left (since they're reversed) and be looking down the right side of the fuselage. Since upgrading (?) to the TIR5 software this results in moving my view across the aircraft to its left side.

This situation has made playing any Track IR-enhanced game much less enjoyable (since it's a TIR5 problem), to the point that I rarely do any longer. I have the latest drivers and I've posted this on their forum, as had someone else before, without succcess. I was hoping someone here might have a solution. Or is this possibly because I'm using old hardware with new software and it doesn't happen if the player is using the TIR 5 camera and clip. I really don't want to have to spend another $150-$200 to start enjoying WOFF.

Hi guys,

Check Six here. Long term (?) OFF: BH&H user, new to WOFF). I haven't done much flying for some time (other stupid things interrupted me (real life included), but I recently purchased and received WOFF by mail (DVD format).

I had recently upgraded to a new gaming PC (my ninja stealth beast is awesome, as it should be for the price - AUS$3200 without peripherals) and despite the fact I had WOFF DVD sitting on my desk, I didn't install it until I got my beast up and running.

I went for my first mission yesterday, and thought I'd best go back to training, as it had been a while, I couldn't remember many key bindings (and had since taken down my copy from the wall). I had also just reconnected all my joystick and rudder and TrackIR, and was not sure if they were working or not. So, old Capt Triggers took me up in the BE2, and I was a bit disappointed that I could not take the controls, because that was one of the reasons I was on this training mission. However, the scenery was beautiful, running seamlessly with no problems on maximum settings. My TrackIR worked just fine.

We landed, and I could not exit the aircraft. I tried every key and every combination to no avail. The ONLY thing that worked was my last resort - Ctrl+Alt+Del to the Task Manager to close the sim. Eventually I got to a screen telling me my flight was complete (it was complete 5 minutes ago!).

I have since chased up a key binding chart that tells me perhaps I should try Escape then Enter. I'll have a go at that tonight.

I loaded up Microsoft Flight Simulator X and tested my TrackIR again, and this time to see if my joystick and rudder pedals worked. Joystick yes, pedals no. At least I have the twisty joystick control in the meantime until I wrangle my pedals into life.

My new Specs you ask? I'll BRAG about them now, but someone will laugh at me in a few weeks time telling me it's obsolete.
