I couldn't find all the old files on my backup or online , so feel free to upload what you have if you want to participate in preserving those files. This is for the 1997 game AWIII3D and 1999 MV versions.

They are for virtually the same game. MV is slightly updated but I believe it's mostly an online game which only supports WWII and Korea arenas.
AWIII3D supports WWI, WWII and Korea. It also has a offline gaming part.

There are several FAQs uploaded in CombatAce's files section now for AWIII that explain things a lot better than I will here.
Like which companies where involved in making the AWIIIMV update, separate from the AWIII3D version.
What the files and patches are for and extras. 

Honestly I don't know if the MV version installer is kicking around out there or not, but the AWIII3D game is suppose to come from Steam:

They have past the deadline of the game coming out, but its still posted as 'coming soon' at Steam.
