Unable to use air-to-air guns in combat

Installed Mig-29A model and Mirage F-1C and Mirage F-1C-200 aircraft into the game (SF:P1) but for whatever reason my onboard guns are not firing when I run out of missiles or am in for the kill

 

Embarassing but I can't figure out what the problem is - no other conflicts with these aircraft but only the guns don't work.

 

Anyone else have similar issues ?

 

I have the current weapons pack installed - I am confused

Do a search for Mig-29 guns here and at SimHQ I had that same thing awhile ago.

 

Is some ini tweaking that needs to happen.

I'd say that either you did not add the guns to the gundata.ini file, or you did not save the changes to the gundata.ini using the gun editor, which is a necessary in order to create a new gundata.dat (which is what the game reads).
