NEVER seen this before

Recommended Posts

I wish i could send a screenshot of this one.I've noticed when i look at any enemy AC that the cockpit appears to be devoid of a pilot.All you can see is the seat.When you look closer the pilot is there,his little head swivelling merrily away,BEHIND the ejector seat peeking out from behind the headrest.Apart from a touch of the white feathers on behalf of the enemy is there any post patch explanation to this one ? ... i can't WAIT to hear it :rofl:

been there...no prob. You dont have to save em to photobucket or imageshack. use your adobe or MS picture it or whatever program u have. save em to JPEG format and wherever is handy, the desk top is good that seems to be the easiest. then you see at the bottom here where it sez file attachments? hit browse button, find the JPEG you want, then hit add attachment. The rest you know.

Its a "crew positioning" problem in Data.ini for the mig-21.

I fixed mine by playing with the numbers:

Try this with:

Open Mig-21xxx Data.ini with notpad

Scroll down to "crew"

Change position as below:

// Crew ---------------------------------------------------------

[Pilot]

SystemType=PILOT_COCKPIT

PilotModelName=

SetCockpitPosition=TRUE

Position=0.0,2.83,0.85 <---------------------this is the numbers to change! ;)

MinExtentPosition=-0.30, 2.37, 0.05

MaxExtentPosition= 0.30, 3.42, 1.05

HasArmor=TRUE

ArmorMaterial=GLASS

Armor[FRONT].Thickness=62

CanopyNodeName=Canopy
