This was an accomplishment for me. I am really bad at landing, and this time I took a LA-7 in with loss of engine power, and only one landing gear, and executed a perfect landing, balancing the plane using the rudder and ailerons to unicycle it to a suitable stopping speed. Notice everything is intact exept for the right gear.

Now THIS is impressive:

I set up a quick mission flying a Finnish Hurricane Mk.I against a Russian Pe-8 with a single FAB-5000 at an altitude of only 100 m. I shot up the bomber to the point where it dropped its bomb...and a few seconds later, WHOA! Mushroom cloud right in my face!

Snapped this one after I dropped 2 500kg's somewhere near this yak online (I blew my 111 up in the process).

The guy I bombed, was like (WTF! JUST HIT ME!), I think he may have been tossed and turned a bit, looks like a giant shotgun got'em pretty good.

LOL! Yeah, bet the guy you blew up stained his drawers, hehe. I try to stay at least 250 meters when bombing, higher if possible.

Got these yesterday, I'm the one in the 111... damn heathens, they had no pity.

I was supposed to torp the harbor of Anapa, so I loaded up the He111 and headed out low along the coast; unfortunatly a P-47 was able to knock out my starboard engine before he got wasted by an escorting fighter. I was able to run on one engine for a bit, but eventually had to bring her down (I thought I could still torp  ). My plane was intact when I landed, but I'm sure the huge plume of smoke coming from the engine made me any easy find. It ended up being a strafing run on me... BUT! my gunners got 2 of em before that P-39 finally crashed into me.

So here are the screens. :D

I love shootin them big birds, just pick the engines off one by one.

I actually taught my 4 yr old nephew to play IL2 by showing him how to shoot down that big ass thing; I flew and he pulled the trigger.

I normally dont have a problem aiming at the engines, but I installed a MSFF2 joystick and when pullin the trigger on the cannons it really takes aiming to a new demension  or should I say hitting something

I had the same problem, but I found that if the aircraft trim is properly set, a lot of the vibration from the FF joystick disappears.
