what does AAA/SAM mean?

SAM is Surface to Air Missile and AAA is Automated AntiAircraft( i think on this one).But what ever it is it's radar guided Anti Aircraft fire. How this helps

Actually, AAA is a term coined in WWI...it means Anti-Aircraft Artillery. In other words...guns that shoot down planes! :P
