it's pity cause the U.S. spent if i remember correctly more than 20 bilion $$$ on the dang thing

WOOHOOO ! Love this game! I wonder if the graphics are going to be cleaned up more? I remember when I first heard that the Comanche was being canceled! I was infuriated that they wasted 30 billion dollars on this program and then a year or so before the first operational one was to be produced they just cancelled it! I mean what is it going to take? another 8 Apaches going down, before they finaly realize that the apache is just too outdated! Well thats the arrogance of those damn generals, and politicians!

They realized that the Comanche would drop from an RPG just as easily as an Apache but at much greater cost.

 

I was very sad when Razorworks was bought and turned into a console-game house. I'm pleased someone else has taken up the torch.

Jedi, the Comanche was stealthy so that's much better than the Apache Longbow

any aircraft can be shot down by RPG... but the RPG is not guided... it needs to be in a straight path to the aircraft

& at the ranges that RPGs operate at that usually isn't a problem ...

At similar ranges a heavy machine gun would do more damage to a Comanche than an Apache.

Remember that it's role was a reconnaisance chopper with the ability to attack targets of opportunity not a dedicated attack chopper.

Has any of the guys checked into this yet? EECH was arguably one of the best helo sims out there from a pure fun perspective. I would love to see a preview of this title here at Combat Ace.
