Silverbolt, never heard about the Varig's 707 incident, but here you can see a real interception of an argentinean 707 (TC-91) by a RN Sea Harrier, it was April 1982 and the 707 was tracking the Fleet heading south.

PD: Rover, as usual: EXELLENT WORK!!! I really admire your dedication.

Saludos.

If i remember correctly.. the 707 was heading to south Africa , but it was heading against the fleet... than the comander of interception take the 707's azimuth, and that was ok.

well...a long time....

the episode in the photo is very clear to me.

the FAA send some B-707 in recon mission to find where is the fleet, and get an estimated time to reach the islands.

In a couple of time the british try to intercep the Boeing, but it fly back home in time to "escape".

One time, that in the picture i guess, they reach it, the comander start to fly high and the sea harrier cant mantein that level...the harrier is not desing to fly high.

even one time the fleet launch 4 sea dart missiles...and the B-707 make the impossible...the comander go down almost to sea level...2 missiles past in front and 2 behind...then like nothing they retornd home.

sorry by the english...bye

Looks very nice, but what about the static plane options from WOI?! isn`t it easier?! WOI sets static "flyable planes" on the ground and they look good there. No difference in quality between the flyable and "static" planes.

Hi Cachifality!!!

the project still in progress

This are the news:

The static aircraft are almost finished. I'm working on the skins fo these aircraft. Also i'm working in new hi-res tiles for this terrain. The argentinian patagonia has a lot of ground textures. This are an example:

Tiera del Fuego, also known as "The edge of the world"

(images clipped)

I hope you like it...

So... the project are not dead. Only i'm taking my time :ok:

Thank you for asking!!!

Esta ficando otima! Meus parabens, amigo. Vai na frente, todo o mundo esta esperando....................!
