I was with the Nimitz airwing for 4 years...

I got sooooooooo tired of hearing The final countdown theme at every unrep and seeing the movie on ships TV at least twice a week.

 

I love how the A-7 that catches the barricade was a VA-86 bird , yet they pull a VA-82 pilot out of the cockpit.

Over all not a bad flick and it's been a <cough> few years since i was onboard, so I can watch it and enjoy it more.
