SFP1 Help

Hello Gents,

 

I have had SFP1 for a couple of years now and have played it on and off. I am currently have an issue that is bugging the crap out of me. Whenever I pres the ESC key to end the mission (after I crash of course) I get booted back into windows. I have the current patch and zero aftermarket mods loaded. Can anyone help me?

Yes I am.....Dell Laptop Vista Home Premium. I have all of the current drivers for everything.

Cool. Vista has a couple of known problems with the SF series, but we have workarounds.

Basically, you need make sure that the latest DX9c update is installed (not DX10). Then you have to disable some pixel shaders by editing one of the game's INI files. Instructions are in the link above. Let us know if you have any problems.
