Hi guys!

I'm just wondering... I had to bail out a few time after being shoot down. Logically, I was captured above egypt.

But, one a few occasions, I bailed out above israel and I was... captured! On the first days of the 1973 war, when the front line is wayyyyyyy far.

Isn't there here a problem?

But being "captured" over own field is strange. Do Arabs have special net-planes to catch ejected pilots?

I concurr. No problem about the randomness of viable ejection. But being capturated while bailing out over Israel, just like I've been beamed into some Egyptian jail is nonsense.

Depends if MIA always means captured - or dead in a river after bailing out

In WoV it says "MIA", but WoI clearly states "captured by the enemy".

And MIA do not mean you're captured by the enemy, just that you were never found dead or alive
