IL2 multiplayer via hyperlobby

Hey guys! I'm having a hard time trying to get my multiplayer going. I'm playing IL2 1946 patched to 4.08 and using the latest hyperlobby client. when i join a game it says "Connection attempt to remost host failed, Reason: Timed out." any ideas on what I need to fix/change? Thanks for the help!

Do you use a router or modem? When router you need to set some ports free... Don`t knwo wich one maybe someone else can help.

dude you need to open port 21000. you can acess them tru your router. theres plenty of help on the net. im not to sure how to do it on a linksys
