eh, I don't know if I'd fly a plane with touch screen avionics. They're a pain in the %%% enough just trying to get money out of an ATM or buying a train ticket. Trying to use that in combat, with gloves on would be a dangerous exercise in frustration.

It's not really a touch screen. "Touches" are registered by crossing a beam just in front of the glass, and are only registered when you remove your finger. You can drag it all over the screen and that doesn't count as a touch.

 

The smallest hotspot there is to touch is 1 inch by 1 inch, much larger than an OSB on any current MFD.

 

Finally, you won't be touching it while in combat anyways, everything is on the HOTAS.
