F-86 Sabre / MiG-15 Mega Pack

Recommended Posts

Guest Tazkiller

Hello all.

Hope you are enjoying the Pack.

I am sure that many, as I did, as soon as you bought Wings Over Israel, was to install Sabres and MiGs.

In WOI the program reads the Deploy and Retract values for the Wing Slatts backwards.

Aircraft affected are ONLY SABRES WITH SLATT WINGS:

Canadair Sabre Mk.6

F-86A-5

F-86E-01

F-86E-05

F-86E-06

F-86E-10

F-86F-01

F-86F-10

F-86F-30

F-86FB-30

F-86F-40

PAF F-86F-35

Sabre4

Sabre6_IDF

Inside the Aircrafts Data.ini file scroll down to the Contol Surfaces section.

Continue to scroll down til you see a subsection called

LeftSlat

RightSlat

The Sabre funtion 100% perfect in

Strike Fighters

Wings Ever Vietnam

Wings over Europe

This affects only Wing Over Israel use of F-86 Sabres w/ Slatted Wings

Original Values as the appear in The Mega Pack

Sorry for the Change.

This is due to the changes in Thirdwire programing, not by me.

Hopefully with a new service pack from Third Wire this issue will be solved.

Hope you all enjoy!!!!!

Taz.

Thanks, Taz. This is one of the most thorough representations of the F-86 (the most beautiful aircraft they ever bent aluminum for) that's ever been presented in any sim I've had. Everyone involved has done a superb job. And the flying in WOI has made the Silver Hawk take on a whole new character. I'd nominate this mod and all involved for the Hall of Fame. And I know from other posts you've made that there's more good Korea stuff lurking in the wings.

Nice work have a question to this statement

"In WOI the program reads the Deploy and Retract values for the Wing Slatts backwards. "

Can it be? This was maybe a mistake by TK?! Cause you have created 3 or 4 simd and now it reads this entry backwards??? This can`t be hope this is reported to TK...

Don't understand why? Just that it is reading the values backwards. And yes it has along, with other abnormalities, have been reported to T.K.

Remember along time ago when the Knowledge base was put together. The F-100 Super Sabre Values where also backward.
