Campaign Problems with RAZBAM's Korean Terrain

Recommended Posts

I have a separate version of SFP1, patched to latest, and modified w/Korean Air War as per Read Me. Updated it with the payware Korean Terrain from RAZBAM. Terrain looks very nice, both Summer and Winter versions. Single Player missions seem to work fine with all Korean era a/c, however cannot get any campaign except with the F-86 to work. Have tried USN, USMC, and RAAF - result is the same as soon as you hit Accept, CTD. Any thoughts or assistance will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

whats your operating system on your PC?

Thanks for the response, Bounder. Windows XP Pro, SP2.

I've tried replacing the RAZBAM terrain with the original Korea terrain I had and campaigns work fine with it. I've copied over and renamed the desert.cat file to Korea.cat and put it in the Korea folder inside the Terrain folder...still the same result with the RAZBAM terrain. Not sure what to do next, which is why I tried the forum.

Bounder,

Do I understand that these lines should be deleted from the Terrain.data file? That seems a bit much, frankly, but since I'll keep a copy of the original I guess I can try that.

Interestingly enough, without making any changes, I seem to be able to start campaigns with several Navy squadrons and most of the Air Force squadrons, although with the AD-4 the campaign was one mission long. I completed the first mission successfully and the campaign ended. The USMC and RAAF (F-4U and Sea Fury) campaigns continue to CTD as soon as I try to start them.

Thanks again,

Wags
