Sounds Not Good Enough

Recommended Posts

There are so many really good enhancements to this game that make it more and more realistic, but I think the sound bites are a bit behind the rest of the game's development. I have a pretty good Altec sound system for my computer, so a jet engine ought to sound like a jet engine and not like a washing machine. Anybody else have the same thought and have any good solutions?

I get kind of tired of the same style of voices (that 'cowboy' twang) but hey, there is so much more that is enjoyable that I don't make a big deal of it. I'm going to search the sound mod section to see if i can find some voice mods. I have noticed that different planes make different engine sounds so at least they don't all sound the same.

Try some of the engine sound mods; my F-14Ds, f-16 use the F110 sound(http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autocom=downloads&showfile=5910), the PWf100s for the F-15s(now thats subtle thunder;http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autocom=downloads&showfile=5500), Foxbats, floggers Fulcrums(http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autocom=downloads&showfile=1284), and well as for the radio communications well if somebody would sit down and record him or herself or do it with a bunch of friends...there would be nothing like it.
