Mig-23 Fuselage Tank

Hello!

 

Original MiG-23M from WOE and all other 23's use this fuselage tank: Tank790_MiG23 witch use the 3D model with the same name. But this model doesn't exist in Objectdata.cat or in weaponpacks -What's happend with it?

It never existed.... at least not in WoE. If you'll check the Bunyap Loadout Thread in the KB, you'll find a fix for that.

 

However....

it DOES exist in WoI.

As for the rest, as pointed towards the KB, the cheat is using the Su-7 drop tank. There's a whole butt-load of tweeks for Floggers in there, using the bunyap pak. If you're using the TMF pak, no adjustments to the "AttachmentType=" line is necessary.

 

There's a WHOLE 'nother thread for TMF Weapons Pak Fixes. Go spend some time over there, and see what's what.

I have real MiG-23 centerline tank made by Pasko. Trouble is - to find it. I had big data loss these days when system crashed(hardware failure). Stand by - I will try to find those files.

That would be great! Finally get them sorted out. Always wondered just WHY we never had the tank.

 

At worst, we could cheat and "borrow" the lods/bmp/ini/whatever from WoI.

Idea was mine, 3d work by Pasko.

Use centerline tank only when 4 x AA-8 loaded - or recce with tank only on belly. Tank was usually not carried with 2 missiles loaded on fuselage. I tryed to upload file in standard way - but no go - so....

Hope that you will find this file(s) useful..

Thanks goes to Jimbib too - he finds that file for me.

BTW - drop tank was designed to be used with TMF MiG-23's.

This model is to wide for MiG-23 but it looks like 800l_tank for MiG-27 !!!
