I use the Su-27 as a basic modell to add some pylons and change the ini`s to have a simulated Su-35BM. All I need is a talented skinner who would create a nice Su-35 skin.

This is what I have until now.

This was the old MOD by Fastcargo, I created only those Pylons without Canards from scratch, see above.

FC`s Mod

Who would help out with a skin for this baby?!

I found this pic for a Pit

Have no idea how to make a pit but we will see. MAybe I can use some excisting stuff. Grippen Pit or something like this.

What do you think?!

Can someone tell me the common russian weapons for attack missions, anti ship and so on?!

hey, nice...

would there be possibility that you can mod canards to move on angle of attack?

Nice one Blackbird.

I'll look this weekend for the links to Flanker loadouts which I found and post them.

I made a s(im)u-35 for myself and was going to skin it, but I havn't found enough photo reference for any one pattern yet to begin that skinning project with all my other WIPs

found this:

One of the most noticeable differences from the Su-35 is that the canards have been removed (though they can be re-attached if the customer requests them, such as on the Su-30 series). This new airframe design reduces the aircraft's radar cross section.

The aircraft's engines have also been improved to the AL-41F1As with three-dimensional thrust vectoring, and the air intakes are enlarged.

A probe and drogue in-flight refueling system has been added as well.

also assumed you have already seen this:

@ 76.IAP-blackbird: hi i have created an Su-35 mod for my personal use, this one uses fastcargos stuff and a modified grippen pit with metric units an a more advanced radar(have to ironout some things here) but it works so far very well as skin i use the one from Marcfighters Su-27SK.

I was thinkin about the Su-35 mod cause of the lag of the Pylons. FC`s work is used to simulate a Su-33 for the russian navy. Both work well together

Actually Vlamik the bottom illustration is for the Su-27, Su-27UB, Su-27SK, Su-27UBK, and Su-30KI.

The SU-35 like the SU-33 and SU-30MK from what I've found has 12 hardpoints.

Weapons

This page also has some info on various versions.

Nice info including weapons loadouts and cockpit illustrations

Hope this helps

Don't mind me askin' but is this new aircraft gonna have a twin nose wheel landing gear like the actual Su-35 & other later 'Flanker' variants like the Su-33 & Su-34?

That would take a new .lod to play with, unfortunately.

Although we could call this some kind of Su-27SKM, the first multirole Flanker.

I need to move the IR bubble of the Su-27 more to the right side from the pilots view, to match more the shape of a Su-35.

There is a OUt file in the Su-27 folder, but don`t have a clue how to move it, can someone help me?! I sa w some pics a while ago where somebode moved it, would be great to have some help in this.

I can`t add two wheels now we have to wait for the real Su-35

Yes.. I understand that but what i meant to ask was This:

Ravenclaw_007 created the Twin sensor pod mod for the F-14D to be added on to the Mirage factory's F-14A to make it look like a 'D' model

Likewise is it possible to do the something similar here by creating the twin nosewheel as an add-on for the stock Su-27?

It hink you haven`T understand this updateprocedure.

let me explain it. This additions are not handled like weapons or racks for pylons. They are handled like "pilots" wich can be attached only to the "fuselage" of the plane / object, like a pilotfigure. You will see when you read the readme and install this addon ;-)

You can`t attache stuff to moving parts with this procedure.

Maybe when I create a fake weapon station on teh Nosewheel, thinkin about the swingwing of the F-111, than create double nosewheels as weapons and attach them.. mh maybe it`s possible.

Ravenclaw_007's mod completely covers the model's original antenna. It's still there inside the new part but you just don't see it because Ravenclaw_007's part is larger. It is very doubtful you could go from a one wheel setup to a descent looking two wheel setup without a different lod even if it wasn't on a moving part.

Couple of things to note:

1) You cannot move the IRST pod. You CAN remove it however, and just build a new one and add it on in the 'proper' location.

2) You cannot use the pilot method to add parts that move (like wheels or pylons on wings). You can use the weapons method to do this...my EF-111 uses this method for the 'canoe'. Where the problem comes in is that the ini file is still looking for a mesh to use as a 'wheel'. So you can't remove the nose wheel, and substitute the new 'wheels'. The aircraft will crash. Now what you could do is attach a second 'wheel' to the original 'wheel' by making the original 'wheel' a moveable pylon as well as the nose gear. This might work, depending if the engine will let you double designate a mesh (as a 'wheel' and as a 'pylon').

Number two was my intention

and number one?! How can I remove it?! I would build a new one and reposition it

I use the EF-2000 pit for now. Repaint it and release it. Later I want to release this one

Great work!!!

But don't forgot that Su-35BM hasn't got fuselage airbrake. It used for this vertical rudders!!!

Working now on the tail and on the loadouts... remember the base is still the Su-27 from Marcfighter ;-)

Maybe I have a solution for the Nosewheel debakel..
