Ok. I'm hot and flushed more then probably anybody for this bird but this is where I will put my foot down. Yah I know my foot here is only text, words or trons but I think no new weapons platform ( someone can always make a drivable tank or boat) should be downloaded for us without the cockpit and crew. I can't wait. I'm probably more of an F6F guy tho. CL

Just downloaded it and took it for a hop. The file is 29 megs or so. Very zoomy to drive.

My SPAD is going to be jeleous.

Despite my gripe about pits its worth driving before the total package is available.

Wow, Ki-44 looks awsim too. That has always been my fave Pacific plane. A Japanese MiG-3 so to speak.

I might be using Tigercat as a NAVY aid to escorting B-50s in the late 40s.

Now we need some Po-2 and Yak-18 for "Bedcheck Charlie" missions. Il-10 and Tu-2 would be nice too...

Po-2 already has a stand in:

Avaliable at my site...the link in in my sig. It's on Page 2 of the Aircraft

Wrench's Toolbox: Aircraft Hanger 2 <---clicky here!

I have a mod of the IL-2M3 for NK, just not finished with it. Albeit not correct for a -10, it's close enough for government work (or to shoot down!)

ojcar: do spent some time in the Knowledge Base; there's a WHOLE thread in there listing what's available, and what's under construction

Wow, nice plane! mmm, F7F range seems about half that of F-82, so maybe I won't be using it. Not sure. But it would make an interesting carrier based addition to escort or recon over parts of USSR.

The hazy cockpit "glass" can be eliminated by deleting or renaming the file 69Glass found in the Cockpit folder. I suggest just rename it -- say, zzz69Glass -- to keep it handy.

The 'cat's got some scratch!!! Intercepted a flock of Oscars and Zekes, and MAN to them cannon tear up them little IJN/AF beer cans.

Haven't tested the NF in Korea yet, but it sure looks great!!!

Many thanks Geo!!!! A long awaited bird!!! (or feline, or whatever!!)

Hey Lexx, there's an update for the TwinMust (ie: as a G model) in the works too. I'm redoing all the decals, and retouching the black skin. Adding a few nose arts, etc.

If you need a generic Natural Metal, let me know...since I have the templates!! May touch up the Alaska skin too

(this is sort of like what I've done with the F-89s -- just some weapons edits, decaling, minor clean ups)

A coupla weeks...it'll be out after the TBM-3

Nah, no metal. I figure if SAC needed a NAVY bailout, the Tigers would fly with natural navy finish. :dntknw:

My mistake, I could have sworn it was still under construction last time i was there. Anyway, both are amazing!

Delightful! I hadn't realised just how slender the fuselage is on this great looking aeroplane.

Great work Geo!
