Ordinance Jettison on Final.

In WOV after a mission from a Carrier, my wingmen and I drop all Ordinance in preparation for recovery.

 

Is there a way to turn this off, so weapons, fuel tanks and Ejector Racks aren't needlessly wasted on return from a mission?

Don't think you can stop your squad mates. To stop you from doing it, perhaps, not press Alt-N or use autopilot?

It doesn't affect your supplies in any way as far as the sim is concerned. But no there isn't an option for that.

You could at least make your wingmen to keep their fueltanks. It´s not the best solution, as they won´t be able to jettison them at all, but when you´re happy with it, give it a try. Add in the aircrafts data.ini to all weapon stations, wich can carry fueltanks, the line "NoJettisionTank=TRUE".

Like i said, the fueltanks wil then remain forever on the aircraft, so even when you engage enemies in a dogfight, you won´t be able to drop them.
