WoE - No sound in Gsh-30 cannon

Recommended Posts

Good Morning guys. :ok:

I installed the SU-27 of Marcfigther in WoE but when i use the Gsh-30 i do not hear the sound. The engine and other weapons are ok, but the problem is with cannon.

Anybody knows what may be happening?

Thank you very much guys.

S!

I think You need to install weaponpack or if You have one check with guneditor is Gsh-30 exist in gundata.ini file then check the name of sound for this cannon and check in Your sound folder is it there with that same name.

This is not the end of the game! :no:

There is another file to edit for the gun sounds....

Is in the Flight folder, the file is SOUNDLIST.ini

You have to add these lines:

SoundFileXXX=Bk27

and at the end add this..

[bk27]

Priority=NORMAL

Looped=TRUE

NumBuffers=4

3DSound=TRUE

DopplerEffect=FALSE

MaxDist=3000.000000

MinDist=50.000000

InsideConeAngle=360

OutsideConeAngle=360

ConeOutsideVolume=0

That's it :ok:

In Wings Over Israel (WoI WP) i have no problems with any sound.

Thanks for the help guys! :good:

I just 'borrowed' a sound from an ArmA mod to do the job of the Gsh-30 for now. Need to check BunyapPak again though, maybe I missed it.

Guys, Spillone104 hit on the answer to your problems. Your 'newer' guns sound files must also be added to the soundlist.ini or they will not be recognised. It should be in the Flight folder, if not warm up those cat extractors (I'll give you a hint here, FlightData.cat about 3/4 of the way down).

Hmmm...checked both weapons packs. It seems like the .wav for the Gsh-30 does not even exist in either at all (Bunyap's does not include sounds).
