Wow...I mean, his death isn't really in the same category as poor old Syd's...but still.

Maybe, just maybe, Rogers and Gilmour might find it appropriate to forgive each other for a bit and do something for their late keyboardist.

Floyd forever, and rest in peace, Mr Wright.

"And I am not frightened of dying. Any time will do; I don't mind. Why should I be frightened of dying? There's no reason for it—you've gotta go sometime."

- Great Gig in the Sky, Dark Side of the Moon [1974]

What a bummer. RIP Rick, and thanks for all the good times I've had listening to your music.

Time to throw "Meddle" on and hit repeat....

How is it any different? Cancer got them both.

Appropriate lyrics, the local classic rock station played the song upon the news.

I was fortunate enough to see Pink Floyd in Oakland, California. I AM NOT a religous person, but I tell ya, god was in the seat next to me, it was a religous experience.

RIP, dude

I really feel sad about this one, his music touched my soul so many times and at the stage in my life where I became the person I am now. Peace, Love and Respect to your memory Richard Wright.
