Beer 0 Posted October 26, 2003 Well we are shifting from our S-76's and our new well location off of Texas has us flying in Bell 214's. Anyone work on these puppy's? I was partial to the S-76's, and was hoping for the S-61. Here's a pic of one of Chevrons S-76's on deck The HLO in the pic is our Bosn, his name is Love Carter (no kidding!) firehawkordy 34 Posted October 27, 2003 Beer, The closest Helo to the 214 I worked on is the HH-1K gunship. The 214's got hte Huey linage so the are dependable. I think they were developed for the civilian market so they have a little more sound proofing too.
