To Wrench, Gepard, Baltika and other terrain builders...

Recommended Posts

Gents, knowing your skills on making terrains/Campaigns I have a small ¨wish list¨ that I hope you may consider.

- Norway 1944/45

The Banff Strike Wing and JG-5 clashing over the Fjords. As we already have the Mosquito FB.VI, Beaufighter TF.X ,Mustangs III/IV, Me 109G-10 and Fw 190A-8 half way is done. The terrain should be include the Scotland, Orkney and the Norway itself WITH its remarkable coast - the Fjords. I know that a Norway terrain is already done but I don´t know if it´s can be downgraded for WWII or has the British soil as well.

- Malaysia WWII

The RAF/RAAF Buffalo Mk.I, Hurricanes and Blenheims fighting with the Ki-21s, Ki-43s and Zeros.

- Japan 1945

I´m eager to fly the P-47N on its real scenario. P-38L, P-51D, A-26B/C, F4U1-D, F6F, FM-2, B-29, B-25J, Zeros 52, N1K1/2, Ki-61, Ki-46 among others are waiting to be recruited.

I know you guys are fully busy with other projects, but keep this in consideration. Thanks in advance!

Baltika was working on a Malaysia terrain, which is why I did the Oscar and Buffalo and Sally skins...

I'd LOVE to see Norway done up right with the fjords and such ... we do need a overhang to stick a "heavy water plant" under so we can drop them rocks on it...

Most of the aircraft and/or skins are readily available. For the most part.

I was actually re-looking at my mod of Edward's Okinawa map; now that I know how to tile, I can fix somethings I didn't particualry like about my "fixes" before. And it DO need trees badly!! :haha:

We'll never see IJNAF's Kikka, but the "Karyu" (IJAAF jet) is readily available....as is a nightfighter version.

Full-Scale Burma

(although hopefully Edward can be persuaded to release his - mine has a l_o_n_g way to go)

http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showt...&hl=baltika (Edward's, obviously)

Cold War Scandinavia (for re-creation of EF-2000 missions)

Northern Europe (v. keen on this thanks to Bobrock's Tornado F.3, and may replace Cold War Scandinavia)

WW2 Japan Home Islands (has not progressed beyond this screenshot)

ETA: when they're done. This is my first time to check in on CA in at least a week, RL has my full attention right now. Some of the above I haven't looked at in months. I plan to fly a couple of missions tonight, drink a couple of beers, no time to be messing with TE (that thing will bite you back HARD  )

Campaign mods:

Midway campaign (nearly done)

Burma campaign (done, just needs docs)

BoB campaign upgrade (done, just needs organised)

etc, etc as I have mentioned before. North Africa is long overdue a visit, hope to have something special campaign-wise to release soon.

Watch this space.

Tally-ho, chaps!

Hey Baltika, don't worry about fixing the water humps in the Marainas -- I got that taken care of (yes, I finally learned how!)

Debating on wiether to do up a Guam based Type 52c Zeke skin first, or release the terrain and THEN do up the skin (actually only need redecaling of my original A6M5c skin). Everything else is 95% complete; just have to check some placements, movements (for the USMC landing beaches) and if or not to add the "Old USMC Barracks" on Orote Point, and it's ready to go.

I gotta tell ya, between the Marianas and Hawaii, I HATE the fracking scalling issues in these games. Of course, we're trying to make it do things it wasn't really designed for!!

Great to hear, sorry I just couldn't get to it.

I think my priority has to be releasing Midway campaign, given all the work you have done on skins etc. I am back from a business trip, my w/e will be given over to family, but hopefully this coming week I can knock Midway into shape for release.

Cheers mate,

Baltika

Looking forward to all of these Baltika. Maybe hold off on BoB until Veltro finishes the Defiant?
