index.php?autocom=downloads&req=display&code=sst&id=8348

File Name: Sukhoi Su-24 Fencer D

File Submitter: Veltro2k

File Submitted: 3 Mar 2009

File Category: Modern Soviet Aircraft

The Sukhoi Su-24 (NATO reporting name Fencer) was the Soviet Union's most advanced all-weather interdiction and attack aircraft in the 1970s and 1980s. The two-seat, twin-engined aircraft carried the USSR's first integrated digital nav/attack system. In many aspects, the Su-24's configuration is similar to that of the F-111. It remains in service with former Soviet air forces and various export nations.

Thanks! Nice addition to the Thirdwire series! :good:

What about a Libyan skin for this plane? It is only an idea to use it in the Operation: El Dorado Canyon, like the F-111.

:cool:

One flight in ODS (I died) and one flight in SF2 - very impressive!

Well done Veltro2K! I don't know how your managing to work so quickly but we're all very grateful.

BTW does it have speedbrakes? Or have I broken something :wink:

Iraq buyed Su-24MK, not Su-24M

Su-24MK has HUD, but has the reduced nomenclature of arms

Su-24MK export ~80 planes < 6% from ALL PRODUTED {more 1200 planes all variants, include Su-24 - 480 planes, Su-24M - 770 planes, Su-24MR -130 planes }

Algeria - 10 Su-24MK in 1989 + 22 Su-24MK/MR 2002 contract {but REAL 1 Su-24MK in 2004, 4 Su-24MR in 2005, 4 Su-24MK2 in 2006}

Syria – 20 Su-24MK in 1989

Libya – 6 Su-24MK in 1989

Iraq – 24 Su-24MK in 1987

Iran – 12 Su-24MK in 1991 {former Iraqi} + 12 Su-24MK in 2000 {Iraqi?}.

Same here + litlle bug: airbrakes auto-deploy at low speeds, no airbrakes at normal keyboard command "S" :sorry::blush:

Anybody else ?

Well, close enough for my purposes, as no one will notice as the panels come popping off...

Sorry to hear that mate. Things are tough out there, and I'm only just hanging on by the skin of my teeth myself, but a creative and productive guy like you has a lot to offer and I hope you will soon get a position.
