F/A-18E Super Hornet (New Model) v1.9

READ THE README

requires 7z to open:

http://www.7z.org

Adobe PDF for the readme:

http://www.adobe.com

Falls under the Combatace.com Freeware License Agreement :good:

Version 1.9 Fixes

-SHARP Pod Added

-Improved Textures from the SF2 Version used.

-Fuel capacity adjusted from the US Navy NATOPS manual.

It should be advised that this was designed for SFP1/WOV/WOI/WOE, not Strike Fighters 2 as issues from that game will affect gameplay to varying degrees.

If you wish to use this in SF2 DO NOT use this version, go here: http://combatace.com/files/file/9401-super-hornet-package-for-sf2-v19/

Been watching this Add-on. Thanks to You, EricJ and Fast Cargo. I like that Yall' showed us the progression of this Add-On. It's been interesting to learn from Professionals...

Thanks a bunch.

Just noticed something, nothing big, but when I fold the wings, the AIM-9s don't line up/move correctly with the animations. Don't know if it was ever noticed or not. No bigge though. It's an awesome mod!

Here's a pic on what I'm talking about...

Any problems with A/G radar?

It appeared to be inop in the Foxtrot (using WOI w/ latest patch).

serverandenforcer. Yep we've known about it (it's mentioned in the readme). FC troubleshooted it as much as he could but pretty much that's what everybody (to include me) has to deal with.

Thanks for the reminder gbnavy61, I honestly don't even use the ground radar so for the whole time I didn't even think about it.

And thanks! :good:

Ah thanks, ArturR. Don't know too much about the avionics so I didn't catch that when I looked through the file yesterday.

About this HUD AOB indicator problem. This problem appears in wide display aspect ratio. Normally I play in 16:10 aspect (1440:900) but when experimentally change the aspect to "normal 4:3" bank indicator working well. Maybe TW engine limits ??

I'm not a massive fan of the truly modern 'glass cockpit' jets but this is a superb add-on and a fantastic package.

:clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping:

And including the templates is a very nice touch too!

Excellent Aircraft! Thanks to all the guys... :good::ok::clapping::notworthy::salute:

Now a dumb question? Which key function to deploy the ALE-50? The read.me describe it as "inert" and will auto "activate" when needed.

Thanks

Yep, default should be Shift + 2 to stream and retrieve the decoy.

From the readme .pdf:

Shift+1 = Wing fold/cockpit open

Shift+2 = Stream/retrieve ALE-50 decoy

Shift+3 = Deploy/retract refueling probe

Shift+4 = Deploy/retract refueling drogue (if equipped w/ the buddy refueling pod)

Shift+5 = Slimers on/off

I put that in there because realistically, it's a 3D object, with no countermeasure properties whatsoever, or it's just there.
