Converting "bmp" to "jpg"

Hell All...

 

Each time I snap a shot on my game it turn into "bmp" How do I convert "bmp" to "jpg"

i say use windows paint open the bmp file and if you want edit it and save as jpg i files as type.

I use GIMP same process but Gimp has more features :biggrin:

irfanview (free)--also great for inserting text into images for decal creation!

On Windows XP and probably Vista.

 

Double Click on the file, should open in the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.

 

Click on the floppy icon at the bottom, the Save button.

 

Use drop down menu to set Save As Type to JPEG and type whatever name you want, and navigate to whatever location you want to save it.

 

Click Save.

 

Presto.

Interestingly, the new SF2 patch means that screenshots are already jpg's.
