Does Wo* especially WoI use DirectX10?

Recommended Posts

I downloaded some directX 8 and 9 dll files and this boosted WoI performance quite significantly.

Before I wasn't able to turn on the mirror but now I can turn it just fine and still getting more than 40fps in game

My specs

Core 2 Duo E4400 2GHz

8Gb DDR2 PC6400

Nvidia 9800GTX+ 512Mb

Vista x64

So is it possible that WoI is runnign on DirectX10? thus the lower performance?

I didn't notice graphical quality degradation when using the custom dll.

What custom dlls? And I think no, it's still DX9. Vista version, SF:Israel will use DX10, that's for sure

True but I'd have these little triangles on the terrain and water that were rather unsightly-Im using an Nvidia 7300.

But the performance surge is so much theres no going back!!!now to find a fix...

I'm not experiencing any graphical glitch. The fps boost is incredible!!!

Hmm I even got the bloom to work now

Stick, first delete all the enbseries.INI files that you might have in your rooth Wo* folder and in the Flight folder.

Just put in the dll files

Then try to run the game perhaps jumping in the instant action. Perss SHIFT F12 to start the bloom effect but this will give you all sorts of graphical glitches.

Then get out. There's a new enbseries.INI files creted for you in the game root folder and in the flight folder.

Copy the following into the enbseries.INI in the flight folder, deleting all the previous entry,

[PROXY]

EnableProxyLibrary=0

Then play the game again. Press SHIFT F12 to toggle bloom on and off. Voila!! Witchcraft happens

Try that and umm makes sure you have updated your GPU driver for your specific card.

The other enbseries.INI in the root folder should only contain the following

[PROXY]

EnableProxyLibrary=0

InitProxyFunctions=1

ProxyLibrary=
