Adding Squadrons to a campaign

Recommended Posts

Here we go... :biggrin:

I want to add a swiss squadron equiped with F-5E into nato fighters III. No Problem I thought at first when I was running WoE. The campaign showed up, but after accepting the new campaign I got directed to 7th TFS Bunyaps. So I added a squadron in the SQUADRONLIST.ini, but no luck. :dntknw: This is how it looks:

SQUADRONLIST.ini:

[squadron262]

Name=22Swiss Air Force

DisplayName=UeG 22

Nation=Swiss

WOECAMP_data.ini:

///----- Player Unit

[AirUnit059]

AircraftType=F-5E

Squadron=UeG22

UnitName=UeG 22

ForceID=1

Nation=Swiss

DefaultTexture=Camouflage suisse

BaseArea=Brüggen Airbase

BaseMoveChance=0

RandomChance=100

MaxAircraft=16

StartAircraft=16

MaxPilots=16

StartPilots=16

Experience=100

Morale=100

Supply=50

woeCamp2.ini:

[swissUnit001]

UnitName=UeG 22

ForceID=1

UnitID=62

StartDate=1979

DescFile=woe2Start.txt

StartText=woe2Start1.txt

AircraftType=F-5E

What am I doing wrong?

Regards

You have the unit set up as AirUnit059, but in the woeCamp2.ini you have UnitID=62. They should match. Also make sure that the list of AirUnit's remains sequential--if you add a unit at the end of the allied list, you need to shuffle the soviet units to maintain the sequence.

Oh man, that's exactly what I was doing wrong. :blush: Now it works perfectly.

I guess I should overlook my files twice before I start making topics :suicide::biggrin:

Sorry for asking stupid questions and thank You Sir :salute:
