SF2V vs SF2

Hi, i'm new here so bear w/me on any noob questions. I am about to purchase SF2V or SF2 and before i buy it i'd like to know what's the difference on the situation on mod-ability between the two? Will SF2 add-ons work with SF2V? Thanks in advance

Lol, too late. I got SF2V, seeing as it's newer. Maybe i'll get SF2 if V is fun

SF2V is very good IMO a lot of improvements made to the entire game. You wont get Intercept missions or a land war in campaigns by default it looks like - thats in SF2 or wait for SF2E

The shared planeset feature of a merged install is brilliant so get both and you can fly the F105, A-7 and F-8 in SF2.
