Hannover CL.II and CL.III

rel2.jpg

Big thanks to Geezer for his excellent gunner and to Peter01 for his FM's.

Check the readme for installation and model notes.

I ended up compromising with the gunner - the entire figure will rotate with the gun but only his upper body will pitch with it so occasionally you may see a little bit of the gunners' coat clip through the fuselage.

As mentioned Peter has made up new FM's for both - they give much more of a heavy-fighter feel. Escort missions are a blast!.

You won't see a huge difference in the models, different ailerons and tail support struts.

Have fun.

I'll upload the skin template pack a bit later.

ETA: If you downloaded the beta of the CL.III its probably best to delete that folder before installing these. Just to be sure.

I have just saw the two sides (attack and fly) of it. As AI, I find it agrassive and quite tricky when flying alone. In the other hand, when I flew it, the gunner moved and pionted the EA but he did´t use the nice Parabellum :shok: nor any of the others from my flight :dntknw: so I had only my Spandau. I managed to bring down 3 RE8 and 5 flammable Spad VII :biggrin:

It´s not a quick turner, but it´s fast and sturdy as a rock :ok: , and that saved me from being killed not my unoperative gunner...if this can be fixed, it´s use as a two seater fighter can be deadly :yahoo:

It could be that the gunner is set to use Peter's Gundata file. If you grab his latest FM (and you really should) :good: pack it should have it.

Otherwise open the HannoverCLIII_DATA.INI and HannoverCLII_DATA.INI files and find the following section:

[Tailgun]

SystemType=FLEXIBLE_GUN

GunTypeName=7.92MM_PARABELLUM_MG14_Gunner

MuzzlePosition=-0.0120,-0.3230,0.8101

MaxAmmo=250

TracerLoading=5

BurstAmount=10

NumReloads=3

ReloadTime=6.0

GunnerID=1

EjectShells=FALSE

MinExtentPosition=-0.30,-0.58,0.62

MaxExtentPosition= 0.30,-1.34,0.86

and change the bolded line to refer to 7.92MM_PARABELLUM_MG14
