Question to the Devs re:-Damage Modelling

Recommended Posts

Hiya

This is a picture of an Alb from those heady days of Phase 1

You will notice some lovely looking bulletholes in the Fuselage.... my question is:- I don't see bulletholes on the fuselage anymore...and not all that many on the wings either.

I have the graphics setting correct to show damage, but is this something my end?...Or have you 'toned it down?'

(as you can see..my pilot was very lucky that day!)

oh well, i see bulletholes in my alb quite often like in this picture. maybe you are the better pilot? or is it maybe a nvdia/ati thing, like fire and mirror and stuff like this.

I never had bulletholes like this in my fuselage. So either I am very good, or there

IS a difference between the cards (Now, even IF I'm very good, there must be)?

Goto workshops and check your Graphics Settings ; Aircraft Skins.

If its on the highest then note that it says (no visible damage)

Drop it down to Normal Res and you will see bullet holes.

Well, it's no big deal, -but maybe there is a difference in cards. I have my settings at 'normal res' and I never see bullet holes or any other damage...

Its actually a function of Vid Card memory - there should be only a handful of cards that don't show bullet damage on Normal.

In your case try the next notch down which is normal CFS3 res anyway.
