I see the headline on the BioHaz front page, but it just keeps looping me.

The downloads area has the original, which seems a bit lacking. Was looking forward to

flying the EAW Euro scenery I just downloaded with some cool new weapons.

I just had my 1st strike single generated, and it starts me at my old base, RAF Bentwaters!

With a divert base of Sembach, which was a real life WAFOL. How cool is that? :)

Sorry, Amourdave. That's where I got it and it was the only place I knew of to get it.

Jeff, I sent you a PM concerning hosting it @ BioHaz. Is it ok with you?

That's what we are here for, we should have ALL strike Fighters files here... ;)

If we see files at other sites which are not currently posted at Biohaz, what is the accepted procedure for getting them posted here? I presume that we would first have to ask the permission of the author(s). Correct?

As long as it's ok from the author (never had one say no yet...) just upload and we'll approve it. Files bigger than 2 Mb will need to be sent to me via email or ICQ, at least until I get a anon upload FTP server going again.

Version 2 is a MUCH better set, I must say. Fuel tanks and Sparrows on the "escort" Phantoms

is a good thing. :D

Thanks ArmourDave. Lots of CBU's too. LOTS!

Well, I lied.

I guess I also timed out for an edit so...

When I choose to start as an A-7 driver, and switch jets on the load screen to any F-4,

I cannot load Sparrows nor Fuel tanks. And if I start out with F-4's, I cannot change

them to A-7's, hence my dilemna.

When I get an 8 shipper in single missions, I like to have 2 different airframe type in the

2 flights of 4. Tell me I'm weird, I'll get over it.

Any idea why this would happen, gentlemen?

Try it without the gundata.dat and weapons directory in /objects..Same problem.

It's an SP2 issue.

Cheers

I kind of figured that, for some odd reason. ;)

Danke Dave-man...

MadJeff asked a question of Armourdave to which I would like to hear the answer. Is there a problem with downloading the weapons pack from SFP101.net? If there is a glitch in the files from there I would certainly like to know about it so that I can get files which are glitch free.

Delete this post if you so choose but a PM with a clarification would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

No idea.

The point is that if you download it from sf101, Biohaz, avsim etc there's no way for me to guarantee it works.

I personally uploaded the zip file to our weapons dev site. I know for a fact that it's no different to the one on my HDD. However, any other person can modify a file, remove parts, add things, changes settings etc and then host it.

So as a rule I will always advise people to download from 'official' sites. That said Biohaz, and avsim are very safe and I have complete confidence in their relative webmasters.

Cheers
