I try to figure out how to set canards as normal elevator and include a slat entry. I found this feature on the EF2000 and tried to reproduce it on some of the Suchois but it doesn`t work. What is the magic behind this?

For example, I liked the implementation of management (a joint - engine inlet and aerodynamic rudders), performed on a model T-50 (!).

I want to look into it and try to apply the model of Su-37 ...

wait, you want it to work as both a stab and an automatic device? That will work only if the model has it as two animations, sort of like the A-10s ailerons/split airbarkes, or the Su-27's Flaperons.

Does it need a seperate animation slot? It`s only listet as canards/elevators. I Try to work it out for my Su-33UB, the LOD is partly destroyed so I test it on anothre bird. When I have repaired it I could send it to you if you like

Or you can have an invisible 'link' so that a single flight control can have 2 forces working on it (one as an automatic device, one as a elevator). Don't even need to use a hardcoded animation slot.

If you decide to go the 'invisible link', you will have to put it into MAX. The idea is that the 'link' will have the same pivot point as the flight control surface, but will be linked between the body and the flight control.

 

Or, as a better example in a hierarchy:

 

Fuselage

-Canard Link

--Canard

 

Assign the "Canard Link" as a Aileron and the "Canard" as an Elevator, and now you have a control that visually 'blends' both inputs.
